REACHING PASSPORT FROM VISA OFFICE NEW DELHI TO VFS CANADA KATHMANDU.

Hi,Can you kindly let inform how many days would be required normally to reach processed passport from Visa Office New Delhi to VFS Canada Kathmandu?According to latest status changed it shown that my processed passport has been dispatched from Visa Office New Delhi on 02nd December 2015.I need advise specially from Bryanna Madam.

Hi Azad,

I think you should have your passports back by tomorrow (Friday) or Saturday.

Passports are normally despatched through Blue Dart Courier. You should be able to check the status on the Blue Dart website by using your Application Tracking ID.... select Ref. No. instead of Waybill No

Thanks a lot for your advise.Already I tried to know about latest status by using my tracking I'd as reference in stead of airway bill on dirt blue courier but unfortunately it is not showing anything.My tracking I'd is 20151118NPKTTRVXXXXX.Can you kindly let me help how can I would be able to use my tracking I'd as reference.Should I use all (letter and number) or just number only.Waiting for your feedback.

Can you try tracking it by selecting Ref.No. instead of Waybill. It may work.

Hi Bryanna,Just now made a call at CVAC New Delhi and came to know that till yet my processed passport is lying at the despatch section of Canada Visa Office New Delhi and due to ongoing current political situation (blockade at India & Nepal Border) VFS can not able to provide it to the CVAC KTM.They told to wait and to track accordingly.Can you kindly let me know about it if you have any specific information.Already I came to know a message in to the CVAC Kathmandu Website where they mentioned that it causes delay to receive passport from New Delhi due to current ongoing political situation between Nepal & Indian Border but the message was published at their website on 08th October 2015.If possible pls assist by providing accurate update news in this issue.

Hi Azad,

There are two solutions you may want to consider:
1. You can travel to New Delhi and collect the processed passports yourself from VFS New Delhi, or

2. You can give an authorization letter to someone in ND/India to collect the processed passports on your behalf.

For this, you will have to pay the VFS service fees + VFS consent form + proofs that you had applied for TRVs.


You can also send a CSE to the NDVO requesting them to allow the processed passports to be handed over to you/your authorized representative in ND.... instead of despatching it to VAC Kathmandu

Hi Bryanna:Thanks a lot for your kind reply & today personally I came to realize why most of people liked you.Your cooperation in this blog is really highly appreciated & I salut to you.Eralier it was shown on tracking result that processed passport has been dispatched from the Canadian Visa Office New Delhi on 02/12/1015 to the CVAC Kathmandu till today evening (local Nepali Time 4.00PM).But just a few moment ago by tracking came to review different message Visa application, tracking ID No.20151118NPKTTRV***** – Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office NEW DELHI, on 07/12/2015 to the Canada Visa Application Centre and is ready for collection. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.My question is that why tracking result shown as two different date of dispatched (1st one is 02/12/2015 & the latest one is 07/12/2015)?Is there any thing wrong indication or just as usual process?Please assist.

Did you opt to collect the processed passports in-person from the Kathmandu VAC? Or did you pay for it to be couriered to your residence in Nepal?

Did you contact the Kathmandu VAC for an update... or if they can arrange for couriering your passports by air and not by road through the Indo-Nepal border?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for writing to the Canada Service Desk.

We understand that you would like to know about the Canadian visa with regards to your email, please be informed

Your passport is ready for collection.

You can collect the passport tomorrow between 2pm to 4pm.
