@Mary_Sol i tried merging the two files but it wont let me. i also tried creating a portfolio so that the two forms can be put in a single file. it went tru but but sadly i cant upload it at MyCIC, i gives out an error message. i'm really out of ideas i sent a report to CIC. no response yet.
@TracyCa64 i needed two sets of form to accommodate the employment/activity history. it says in the manual, if i need more space, i should fill out another form.
I don't think you need another whole application. (IMM 5708)
Maybe I am confused to what you are doing. From what I read it states, "print an additional page of the form if you need more space".
Can you complete that page of the form, print it and then scan it? You can just upload it to another section of your upload choices.
Maybe add it in with your "Letter of Explanation" upload section.
in addition to what TracyCa64 have said and to make it more simple and easy
- you can create a simple word document file giving it a heading of "additional Sheet"
- the template of the text file can be as following:-
-----Additional Sheet----
Applicant name: xyz
Form title: IMM5708
Question NO: XX
Answer continued.... date from - date to - Activity......etc ( this is the headings same as in the original form)
aug2012 - sep 2014 - JOB / xyz company
Save the file and you can upload the file in the "letter of explanation" section. if you already have a written letter of explanation then mention this attachment in it and upload it along with your explanation letter. (note you can create multiple pages in word document so it wont be a problem in adding additional sheet with your explanation letter"

Yes!! Exactly!! You explained it perfectly. There are only so many upload sections in the application and I remember having to add multiple pages to a document file and upload that file.
