My wife's aunt, who is a Canadian citizen, wants to sponsor her to Canada. However, she is not sure of the total amount to pay as she is seeing $75 and then $475. She also wants to take me along as well. Does she pay the $75 + $475, and an additional $550 for me? Or, is it just the $75 + $475? just need some advice n info

1 IF the aunt is eligible to sponsor, no spouse, no children, parents decease, no brother/sister/aunt/uncle/nephew/neice in Canada, then it will cost her $1000

Well based on what i am seeing on the cic site, it seems as if her aunt meets the basic requirement interms of being a Canadian citizen and sponsorship under the family category (as her aunt has no living family in Canada). But that's as far as i can speak to as the rest would be up to CIC. What I am interested in is finding out the initial cost that is associated with the process.
