You can pay online and pay with a credit card, you will provide an email address and then after you pay they will send you a pdf copy. You can print it out and include with paper application.
This will be sent instantly after payment.

Or you can pay in a bank and have to go to the cic website to ask for offical reciept.
https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/kms/introinit.do?dispatch=introinit&appno=5401&lang=en

This may take 2 weeks to be sent to you.

or more info here.

You can make the payment at any point, separate and apart from completing your application. You do not need to pay the Right of Permanent Residence (RPRF) fee immediately ($490), however the sponsor and applicant fees must be paid and the receipt enclosed when the application is submitted.

Correct, thanks for answering that for me.lol. :)
Also to add, You do not need to pay the RPRF immediately with the application but it is strongly advised cause it may help make your processing time shorter. Although not guaranteed.
