just wanna share my experience in applying for my parent's super visa. we applied super visa for
them october 25, 2013. medical examination requested november 4, 2013. luckily there's no issue on my dads medical. he got his visa dec 2, 2013. my mom did a lot of additional test. ecg, 3d echo, blood sugar and creatinine test (if i'm not mistaken) . she even undergo sputum test (st. lukes manila philippines) and had repeated xray on february 17, 2014. sputum test is negative and xray result no changes. so everything is good. on february 28, 2014 embassy of canada emailed me. my moms application is done. her passport is on its way via courrier. we're so happy and excited. the passport arrived, but there's no stamp on it, and there's a letter they refused and closed my moms application for the reason "she failed to comply with the completion of medical examination". so disappointing after all what she has been through. i emailed embassy of canada in philippines appealing for my mom's case. i send all the medical results. there's no harm in trying! so the nxt day i filled up new forms and gathered new documents we need for re applying for my mom. and mailed it via canada post. the parcel us still on its way as of now. so last night (daytime in philippines) at around 10:30 pm, i received email from embassy canada stating my moms application is re opened. and they are requesting for
her passport back.
i'm so happy! and i'm glad that they have responded to my appeal. so if there's anyone had my case, don't be afraid to voice your opinion to canada embassy if you know you have the right to do so. they will undestand you. for now i'm hoping for the best on my moms application. although i don't know what will gonna happen next, i'm so thankful and happy that they re opened my moms application.
have a good day and God bless us all!
