i applied for student visa and my file was submited on 6 april 2011 for may .. but i got a letter from embassy asking for sputum smear tests.. tests was completed on 8 july ...now any 1 can please help me than when will be my decision will come ?? :-[thnks

They just want to clarify certain medical aspects bro,other than that everything else is fine, So mostly you will receive your visa soon.....All the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no actully it was my re-medical for tb,sputum smear and cul;ture...they said it will take 6-8 weeks for report..
but some people are saying it onl;y takes 15 days..so i m confused...waiting for reply

No one can predict about the issuance of visa after medical. Some times they issue after one month, some times two months. It's upto how lucky you are!!! :-X :-X :-X :-X :-\

I have also got a re-medical request from CHC. I had a inactive lesion in my lungs during my pre-medical and doctor said that I might had Pneumonia or TB before, but he said that it is not active now. But I dont remember history of Pneumonia or TB in the past...
What u guys think that the possibility of getting visas even if I have TB now...if everything else is okay.

Hi Arsh,

Don't panic i had to do same test as you for me it lasted 8 weeks.

Result was negative.

If you know you don't have TB go and do the test by God grace everything will go on well.

Concerning visa being issued i have no idea as I'm waiting for same but in my case my dependents medical will be expired soon.

All the best hopefully all will be ok.

I got remedical request after 8 days of my application to VFS (Infact 4 days after it reaches to CHC). I applied from Kathmandu VFS for New Delhi CHC. I am really afraid that I have got funded PhD offer and do not want to miss this only due to medical reason.

Similar experiences from any one in the past will be much appreciated...............

Could you pls share me one thing that when CHC asked you to go for sputum smear test..did they returned your passport as well or simply sent email or letters?

I was send only the further medical letter address on my name and inside another letter which has to be opened by DMP only.

actually ;Dit was writen in the letter that i :-[av to consult dmp within 90 days other :-wise my apllication will be rejected.i went for test to gu gaon///n tests helod on 6 7 8 juy..
now how muchh tym dey need ?? im woried ..cause i had applied for may intake..but m already late for may n now waiting for sep ...but if the reorts will be send to embassy after 2 months than it ll also b too late for me..
i hav applied for canada (georgian college ) from india ( punjab )

I am really fed up of the all thing. It's just God I rely on. I went to submit report from my Doctor that I am TB free to the Medical practioner desginated by CDHC. The white lady told me that she has submitted the report and that x-ray reveals something on the chest. She said PROBABLY the TB comes back,which I am very sure it's not the case. I don't have any chest pain since I was cured of the ailment in 2003 and even with regular exercise. She told me she will submit the report my own Doctor wrote to CDHC today and they may call me for further examination. She doesnt know yet. She concluded that she will submit the report of my own Doctor to CDHC today. I am confused! I won't lie. I know I am healthy and fine.
The only hope I have now is with God. Cos,Allah is capable of doing all things and in him I rely.
Guys,that's d latest news from me.
