Re-medical

Good day,
I would like to know if any body here did their medical again before they are requested by the cic. My medical will be going to expire soon and i believe that they are going to ask for it again. I am debating if i should wait for their request or just simply do it now.

You have to wait for their request because they ask for the form CIC will send via email/mail.

Thanks, but this is something that we did for the medical before. Without any form. We just went there and do the medical for spouse sponsorship application

CIC sometimes extend your medical, so in that case it would be waste of money for you to do remedical on your own now. You may not need it.

But if you need to do remedical, then CIC send you a form with a number on it. So doctor when do your medical again, they use that number in there which make it easy for CIC to match it to your file. On the other side, if you do on your own then sometimes its hard for cic to locate your medicals and hence you end up with hassle and wastage of time.

Yeah the same thing happened to us. My husbands medical was to exp beg of july and we emailed them asking if we should re do medicals to save on time and they said not to do anything until they ask us to. And sure enough a month later they asked my husband to re do them

i was planning to do my re-medical on my own a few months back but my hubby told me we should just wait for any email from the embassy..we received the new medical instructions plus the form that you're gonna need to present to the doctor a couple weeks after we contacted them..

yes embassy will contact for medicals and they request for it
