Had you taken upfront medical exam? Is it request for medical or medical furtherance?

THEY HAVE ASKED FOR MEDICAL EXAM AND THEN RETURN THE PASSPORT TO CHC FOR STAMPING. THE REASON FOR CONFUSION IS THAT I HAVE NOT READ THE LETTER MYSELF AS I AM NOT AT HOME FOR A FEW DAYS.

So, its a medical request.. Get your Medical done and resubmit the PP to CHC for further processing

So you can not be issued any visa without taking medical exam. In this letter you will be instructed about your medical exam which have to take before getting SP.

The DMP list will be included in your medical letter, go to anyone of them and get your medical done ASAP.

Well one can't say for sure, but usually it is believed that one gets medical call after his case passes initial checks.
