Re -Medical....

Dear friends,
When usually person get info about re medical? I mean if DMP was o.k with results but Canadian Medical Officer found something, so after how long they send request? And how communication usually done?

Usually they will contact you within 6 weeks of your first Med. And they will send a sealed envelope only to be opened by your DMP. They will instruct your DMP the type of test to carry out. I have passed through this process and was OK in the end.

WHAT ARE MAJOR ISSUES FOR ASKING RE-MEDICALS

I was diagnosed with inactive hepatitis B. Hence, I am not a carrier. My doctor at St Lukes Philippines advised me not to worry. I have done liver profile ultrasound and everrything is okay. I am planning to apply for a work at Canada next year. Will this affect my application? Please advise. Thanks

my son has some developmental delay..especially speech..i am the principal applicant.will it affect medical?

What about your 1st evaluation for TB, if +ve active TB unfortunately difficult to pass this stage, but if resolved or treated you can pass.Good luck.

i have TB in 2009 and after that i take medicine for 9 months. Now my sputum test and PPD test are negative.
reports already with the VO from 16 aug. waiting for medical line updation.

I too received call from my DMP for remedicals. When i went directly to DMP to get details, I was told to take sputum smear & culture test followed by repeat Xray and consultation by chest physician.

Kindly update as to how many of us started receiving remedicals after a long wait of 1 and half month after submitting my medical reports by DMP.
