So I called the panel physician and they said they will not do the X-Ray portion of the medical exam on my wife if she is pregnant. She will have to wait until the baby is born to complete the medical (December 2015). Fair enough.

Problem is, the letter from CIC says she has to do the medical within 30 days. Any advice please?

Do the whole medical apart from the xray now and have the doctor submit this information to CIC. Write a letter to CIC telling them your wife is pregnant and you're unable to do the xray but will complete it once she has given birth.

Thanks for the reply. I thought so. And I suspect I'll end up paying twice for the medical exam! grrrrrr
