I am on H1B visa and applying for the visitor visa of Canada. Please let me know about IMM5713 form. Me and my wife both will apply. She is on H4 visa. My friend has PR of Canada. Can you please let me know which person I have to show as Family Member Representative? I am little confused on this.....Please help me....

Do I or my spouse need to sign any document?

You are the main applicant. You are applying for yourself and your wife. Your wife has to declare that she is giving the permission to you to handle her case also.

OK. So when I fill the form IMM5713. I have to mention her information...?
And I have to show her family members so me and my son (US Citizen)..Is that correct what I understand?

yeah.

So main applicant you.
Your wife is giving you the permission.
Just put initials of hers in signature, that will work if you are uploading online.

You are confusing me
As far your form IMM5713 Goes

You are main family member representative. section A
Your wife is granting permission to you. section A (3) and section B

Oh...! I really apologize for that. But because of my situation, I am little confuse. I thought I can't be representative myself. That's the reason I post question.
So in Section A, I can represent myself and the remaining as you said.

There are several things like
You are applying online.
You have mycic account.

Now if you want to apply for your wife's visiting visa along with yours, you need to fill this form.
Use your mycic account and upload this form. this what the forms is all about.

You might misunderstand this form with other form.

If you are doing online, there is no signature needed as they mentioned.
But if you can sign and scan and upload, that will work.
Another way is just write your wife's name in signature field. It worked for my parent.

Sure. So all information is correct now.? I will do the same thing today. (I was just confused because of my thought was I can't be family representative that's why.....)

Hello for the format IMM5713 I am representing my daughter of 5 years old. Does she have to sign the form? or I have to sign for her
