Hi

My kid is 15 month old, so did medicals last week.
Dr. sent results same day eMedicals.

Me and My wife did medicals last Aug 2015
We did get COPR and Visa, however since we wanted to add our kid to application
it was cancelled by CPC Ottawa(Which is my VO)
Now i am waiting for COPR/ Visa Request for passport

Any idea how long it will take

Hi All
I will be landing in Canada by mid May, I have a question regarding Driving License, can someone please share their inputs

1. There are two things IDP(International Driving Permit) and DL - Extract, do I have to get both ?
2. For these things do I have to be physically present at RTO or anyone on my behalf can get it ?
3. Does RTO know of DL-extract and do they provide it in their Letter Head ?

Please advise, and anyother information if you guys can share regarding this, would be benficial

I received MR request on 23rd March, 2016. I have successfully completed my medicals and the ecas status has been updated.

I received my MR on 05 Jan 16 and I did it just after the day. ECAS shown my “medical received” (9 Jan 16.) As I saw the form or my friends received medical request with PCC request or background update papers after few days got RPRF.
But I didn't get PCC & RPRF. I raised GCMS and got the report. The report generated date 18th Feb’16. The report is very regular only security portion is hidden.
Usually people get the MR with background check request papers but I didn’t get with my MR even though after completed MR & passed 90 days. Anyone who is similar like me please share your experience.
I am totally confused would you please suggest me.

in my case it took 6 weeks for ppr after fbi

HI Rohan,

-- IDP will allow you to drive in Canada. DL Extract will help you to get Full G drivers Licence directly after G1. So if you need to drive before getting Canadian Licence, then get IDP.
2. For these things do I have to be physically present at RTO or anyone on my behalf can get it ?
-- Yes, your presence if needed unless you want to go through backdoor.
3. Does RTO know of DL-extract and do they provide it in their Letter Head ?
-- Yes, they are aware of the term. They generally have form for extract. Or, they can ask you to give written request and pay for it (Rs. 10/-)
