Dear Seniors,

By the grace of God I received the medical today. Just want to confirm few things;
1. What sort of tests they conduct in medical
2. I am assuming that my wife's medical will be done by female doctors, right?
3. How much time will it normally take after medical till the PP request.
4. My employer didn't receive any confirmation call yet, is it possible they will call my employer or some other type of checks after medical.

Bundle of thanks in advance.

Hi whats your timeline and visa office?

Ind2canada and Diplomatru, thank you very much for your inputs on insurance part, +1 for both...

One more question which is running in my mind, is vaccination required for adults, only 2 of them, Myself and my spouse are travelling this April.

Urgent help pls

Seniors pls help

I landed canada in November 2015. My spouse and my son were not with me at the time of landing. Now I came back to India to take my son along as my spouse will come from Nz directly. I thought i will recieve my PR card soon and my friend will courier me the same. However when i called cic to check my PR card status, they mentioned some photo issue for which i will have to send a photo to them. This process again will take some time.

Is there a possibility to apply for travel document now from delhi. Anyone applied for travel document recently please help

Thank you

No, but it's a good idea to have a vaccination record when you make your first appointment with a family doctor. Safe travels!

Of course, you can! Most of the times they issue PRTD really fast.

Hi,

Friends I have received GCMS Notes last evening, it shows nothing started even after 13 months since PER. Earlier due date was 31-DEC-2015 now they moved it to 13-Feb.

Not a single line varies from my previous notes which i ordered in October.

What could be the reason of not initiating any checks, its a indication will they dump the file after some time.If checks were started and got stuck somewhere in security/background checks

are acceptable but Put Away Status after 15+ months.

Kindly share your inputs..

Thanks,
Yameen

Congratulations Ali. Wish you speedy peaceful process ahead.

1. General Test[Eye Sight ,Weight , Height], Urine Test, Blood Test, Physical Body Checkup. For you wife there will be Female Doctor
2. Yes there are female doctors.
3. It depends on your Visa Office/Visa Officer/Country you are residing. So you need to tell this info to get the precise answers
4. Not really, Medical Instructions are issued once your eligibility is passed so hopefully you are good to go.
Great, bundle of thanks for warm wishes.

My visa office is London and country I am residing in is Pakistan.

And yes one more thing, my timeline has not been updated yet. Is that something to worry about?

Great. No Nothing to worry about but your timeline will certainly help other forum members to figure out the number of days they need to wait as you know LVO.

PPR may vary from 1 month to 4 months depending on the Visa Officer/PA. Who is your PA/Visa Officer? Must be written in the Signature Details of your MR

Actually I didn't receive my MR from my consultant, I will collect on Saturday. But does it really matter that who is your visa officer?

Again, many thanks for your replies and support.

Hi Seniors,

I am inquiring on medical insurance for initial 3 months and founds that ICICI is offering both travel and medical insurance for initial 3 months. Do you think taking medical insurance from ICICI is worth taking or please suggest a good travel and medical insurance company.

Hi imm2canada,

How much ICICI cost?

Hi!

Luck to all members here for their application, Forum has really been supportive throughout my application.

I have question here; I got my 3rd line regarding Medicals receiving on 19th January and currently waiting for the 4th line. I live in UAE and want to go to pakistan for my annual leaves but someone told me not to travel as anytime from here onwards you will have to submit your passport to Canadian embassy for Visa Stamping. My queries are;

How much time LVO normally takes after receiving medical, to further instruct for passport submission?
After getting instructions for Passport submission, How many days you can normally take to submit it to embassy?
How much time embassy would normally take to return back your STAMPED PASSPORTS?

I would like to submit my Passports (If get a call) in Abu Dhabi embassy rather than in my home country to avoid any issue, as my annual leaves are limited. Your suggestions are most welcome.

I belong to Pakistan, London is my VO and currently lives in UAE.

Thanks
