Hello

I have got the PPR email, asking me to provide passports within 30 days
The problem that I moved and I do not live in China now. And it is too far to send passports to HKVO.
Is it possible to ask HKVO to get my visa stamped in nearby VO ?
Did anybody face this before with HKVO ?

Thank you so much and hope you all the best

Hi guys,

I am facing the same situation. I was based in Kuwait but I have moved to India. I have received my passport request but I have been informed that the office in India does not process passports. I have been asked to submit the passports to London.

VFS refuses to send the passports out of the country. I still possess a residential permit for Kuwait, so I am trying to get the stamping done from Abu Dhabi.

Is there anyone who has done this before? Has anyone couriered passports to London or Abu Dhabi from India?

Thanks for the help.

Dear experts
I got PF in March 2015 on my immigration history. I sent all relevant docs within March. Since then no update, asked for GCMS couple of times, but no update except review in progress. This is more than 9 months since I sent them additional docs. Please note, I have visits to number of places. I also raised CSE many times, got no reply. Any idea why its taking so long? Is it normal?

Status updated to Decision Made in the morning and now received PPR.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE.

Congratulations Amitrathiesh

You should request VAC to call NDVO and accept your passport. Printing can be done at any office.

Hello,

Can I travel to India via London without PR card? I know PR card holders are exempted from UK transit visa, but the issue is I still dont have my PR card in my hands and wonder if they will allow me to board the plane..

Hi Diplomatru,

How do I contact the VAC? And which VAC will this be? London? If so, I have already asked them and they informed me that the Delhi cannot process the passports. Any idea what else can be done? Should I just take the risk and courier the passports to London?

Thanks

You should contact the VAC responsible for the area where you are currently based. If this is India, then you are in business with VFS. Just talk to the manager, you are not the first person to have the pp stamped at a VO other than the VO responsible for the processing of PR application.

I received a mail from cvo to retake the Ielts
my last one is still valid
i also receive same instruction & i also send clarification from idp to cvo Colombo but now 10 days passed on they not gave me any reply i am confused about in855 because idp says they have only single center code for all India that is in855 so that means if they want to see another center code on our TRF that we can get from another country if anybody get reply from cvo regarding this please let me advise.

Thanks. I've already spoken to the VFS staff over the helpline and online chat. I'll go over to the office personally and talk to the manager there. Will come back with the updates. I'm hoping this works out. What gets me worried is that London said that Delhi cannot process the passports. So it seems that VFS is helpless in this case.

This is the exact text of the email from London - "Applicants residing in India are required to submit their passports to the VAC in London. Please note, the India office will be unable to accept your passports for processing. Please ensure you submit your information to London within the timeframe provided."
