Hello Seniors,

need an advice. I made a short landing and finished all the landing formalities and was back to home. was planning to make permanent landing in few months from now after getting the PR card.

But i recently received a mail PR card processing center, that i need to resubmit the photos since the once i initially submitted does not mee the required specifications.

My query is "should i send the photos to my friend who is in Canada and ask him to post it to PR Card procesing centre" or "should i send it directly from home country to PR Card processing center"

Pls advise me.

Thanks for the help.

Dear,
No need to worry.
Mention the asthmatic history and the inhalar. (the physician auscultates the chest !).
No need to mention the nasal blockage.

Hope it helps

Subject: GCMS Notes Consent form doesn't show Month of my date of birth....

Dear Seniors, I just applied for GCMS notes; after paying the amount, I got the consent form for authorization of information but I noticed that “month” in my "date of birth" field is missing (just date and year is there in that field). Therefore just wanted to confirm, is it normal or do I need to notify them? if notification needed, at which email id should I notify them?

Thanks - Karim

Hello friends,

Some updates from my side. Did a quick landing in Toronto in the morning and took the flight out of Canada in the evening. The process did not take much time apart from the wait at the long immigration queue which were there largely due to the many refugees cases being scrutinised. Gave BC address of my relatives for the PR Card which shall be sent in 6-8 "government" weeks and also applied for SIN(Social Insurance Number) which was generated on the spot and provided to me. Did a short tour of Toronto post that and came back to airport for return since I plan to make the final move in 6-12 months. Also, no proof of funds was asked from me. Most of the immigration staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was a bit worried about queries arising regarding the short trip since I was returning in the evening but this question never arose.
All in all, a very good first impression of Canada.

HI,

Someone may have asked this question earlier. Sorry if this is a repetition.

I'm going to do my first landing with my family (my wife and child) at the end of January 2016. (I know!, it's gonna be suuuuper cold!)

The docs that they've sent me with my passports say "If you're carrying more than 10,000 CAD $, you need to declare to the authorities"
but doesn't say anything about the minimum amount to carry with you. Is there a minimum amount required?
I'm going for a week, and planning to move in about 5-6 months.

Thanks!

Dear All,

Please help Rajani he is bit confused..........

Hi all,

I have applied in December 2014 and got visa at the end of August 2015. I have done medicals in the beginning of July therefore, our visa expiry is of July 2015.

I planned to perform landing in May 2016. But couple of my acquaintance suggested not to delay landing as it will be a problem on arrival. I am still unable to understand that if there is expiry on visa and if we do landing anytime before expiry, then there wouldn't be a problem.

Please suggest if some came across to perform landing after 10 months to visa issuance but before expiry?

As long as you land before expiration of visa no issue.

The validity and end date of VISA is there for a reason. right?
You can land even on the last day of your VISA validity.
Please do not get confused by hearsay.

You can land as long as your visa is valid. There's one more catch, your passport needs to have a minimum of three months of validity left. Otherwise, your own country's immigration won't let you pass.
