Hi Friends,

I need advice for my friend. He has done medicals from Apollo Ahemdabad. Now he got the letter for furtherance medical for Chest X-Ray.

The query is:

1. Is it compulsory to do remedical at apollo again? Can he change the hospital?

2. What happen if he changes the hospital, will it affect his file?

3. He consulated the MD Physian and take the X-ray but the x-ray is normal. There aren't any abnormalities found.

FYI, Apollo is giving 21st Nov. date for re-medical.

Can someone please advice or share experience if faced such kind of issue?

Regards,

For consistency purposes, I would recommend he does his repeat x-ray at the same facility he undertook the first test. There is nothing to worry about a repeat test. I too had to repeat xray. I suffered TB 10 years ago and when i went for medicals, my x-ray showed a scar. I was then asked to repeat the xray for confirmation. I now have visa stamped. btw 21 Nov is just 11 days away. I think it's not too long to wait considering how long it has taken since he made the application. Visa date will also be based on the day he completes the medicals and not the day he took the first test so i guess it is fair enough.
I hope this is helpful.

Thanks for prompt reply, wangare2014.

PS : His application received date is in June 2014. And he did his first medical in last week of october 2015. He told that he neither have tb history nor in his family.

Hi Forumites,

Since I am not receiving any update from WVO on my file and even no response on CSE, so was planning to order GCMS notes...

I found the following link on the official CIC website which talks about "Access to Information Act": http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

It costs $5 and can be raised by Canadian Citizen or PR holder, and since I have a sibling in Canada, I was planning to ask them to raise it on my behalf.

Is this the same thing as GCMS notes? Or can someone guide how to order GCMS notes via the official CIC channel!

Cheers,
LazyBoy

It is the actual GCMS report ordering link where any Canadian PR holder/ citizen (i.e. your sibling) can seek information for any other person (i.e. YOU) if the person send authority to that Canadian PR holder/ citizen.

3rd part company do the business taking 25 to 40 dollars since many applicants do not have anyone in Canada.

So go ahead applying through ur sibling !!

Thanks
