My time line is:

NOC2132
We received your application for permanent residence on September 17, 2014.
We started processing your application on December 10, 2014.
We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on December 14, 2014.
We sent you correspondence on October 5, 2015.
Medicals received on October 05, 2015.
Medicals done on October 06, 2015
Medical results have been received. October 12, 2015
Passport request on October 19, 2015.
Passports submitted @VFS Hyderabad on October 19, 2015.

First renew your passport, now.
Email the scanned Bio pages of the new passport to your VO, detailing him.

That's all. Only issue is delaying it further...
