I recently raised a CSE making an inquiry from VO if I could send in my PCC since they didn't request for it with MR. I got a response today to go ahead with the submission.

Do I send the VO scanned copies by email or I would have to send it via courier?

I'm considering the cost implication in case VO requests for additional docs (Updated POF, Updated Schedule A, Receipts for paypent of RPRF etc).

Send them the original by courier

Once the status changes to "Decision Made", what is the probability that the decision is not favorable?
if there anyone here who had gone through that?

Only probability is that if you have cheated in any of the submitted documents. Otherwise if you have submitted everything genuine there is no possibility. Because CIC will try to avoid any lawsuits by giving negative decision for no reason.

Friends can i carry settlement funds (to be declared at the time of landing )in the form of bank draft in Local currency (Pakistan Rupee). I am travelling from Pakistan and want to avoid conversion loss here when converting these funds into USD.

Personal message on this would be even more appreciated.

Dear SANB,

The client id for RPRF is the 8 digit UCI number given by CIC.
You will find it in all mail correspondence.
There is a link in the RPRF letter for payment... click it, create a password on the webpage which opens.
and pay with CC.
On sending scanned documents, don't inquire if courier is required. Let them decide !

Ans. 1. No, it doesn't matter as long as he uses his IME number allotted to him in the MR (medical forms you received).
Ans. 2. 15 - 60 days, est. (depends on PCC/security checks)
Ans. 3. Yes, security/criminality checks continue. When finished, PPR is issued.

Hope it helps.
Best of luck

Dear,
Simply click reply to the email you received for PCC & RPRF. (So the subject remains the same)
OR write in the following pattern/sequence:
APPLICATION NO - SURNAME, FIRST NAMES - XXX (INITIALS OF VO)
Attach the Scanned PCC and Receipt.
Add a note in the body of the email, stating the attached documents, and requesting acknowledgement.
I wrote the following:

Respected Visa Officer

In reference to your letter dated xx/xx/2015.
I am hereby sending the following documents for myself and xxxxx, as attachments to this email.

1. Police Clearance Certificates for (country name).
2. Right of Permanent Resident Fee Receipt.

Your acknowledgement will be highly appreciated.

Yours sincerely,
Surname, First Name(s)
(Applicant No. xxxxxxxxxx)

Hope it helps

Hi all,

Need some advice.
I have received the request to submit passports for the visa which will have a validity of 1 year from date of medicals (in my case it will be from 15 September 2015 to 14 September 2016). The CIC information states that this visa cannot be extended. We are planning to have a child and hence if we are not able to travel to Canada for landing before the visa expiry, will we be able to notify CIC of the birth of the child, do fresh medicals and then be granted this visa again, which will then have the validity of 1 year from the fresh medicals date???
