All,
Finally received the golden email of PPR today afternoon... :P :P :P :P
After a looooong wait, ;D ;D

Congratulations

I received request for Medical examinations after 1 year long wait. I am in a fix now. I was married and blessed with a baby girl recently and I did not add their names yet to my application. Canadian embassy has given me 30 days to submit my medicals and PCC, but in these 30 days I may not be able to get required documents for my wife and child (trying my best....) and also additional funds that will be required if I have to add them in my application. I may be able to arrange funds only after 2 months. Can someone give me any suggestions how to solve this issue. Can I proceed with my application without informing Canadian VO about family change and if I get FSW visa go to Canada and call my wife and daughter after 6 months or a year as a sponsor. I dont know how easy/difficult that may be. Any other suggestions.

You must inform CIC of any family changes you have before you go. If spouse and children are not accompanying the applicant to Canada, there is a separate form for that. You may call them later on. And ypu need not to show additional funds if they are not going. But as for now, you should inform them immediately of any family changes.

Has any December 2014 applicant got update from SGVO? My last notification email arrived in April. It is getting real fraustating.

Hi just a quick question please,

Me and my husband did medicals on 5th october. my husbands blood pressure was high somwhere around 156/100 the doctor asked him to do additional test like stress test and ECG etc and see a Cardiologist. Now the problem is that the cardiologist which is referred by our GP has a waiting time of 3 weeks and our medical due date is before 23rd of October Will our Medical received line be updated before that or will have to wait a little longer due to extra tests.

Once the status changes to "Decision Made", what is the probability that the decision is not favorable?
if there anyone here who had gone through that?

Hi Guys,

I have a question here. I have received PPR on 25th Sept and LVO has been given 30 days to submit the passport. However, my password is with UAE immigration for renewal of my visa.

I hope to receive my UAE visa stamped on password next week. However, there are cases when the visa issuance from UAE has been delayed.

Can anyone suggest what should be the action point from myside? If I dont submit the password within 30 days as requested, do I lose the PR?

Regards,
Sarvesh

I also encountered high blood pressure and I was on the medication. However, as per the procedure of CIC, the panel doctor has done additional blood test (specialize to check the health of kidney) which was fine and CIC did not question after that.

MR

With grace of God finally got my MR......it took almost 1 year after SLU...

What about after medical and rprf? I know 99% chances are that its favourable but just wanted to know under what circumstances (if at all) could it still turn negative.

Dear,
It is very difficult to sponsor, even family. It may take much longer then you are anticipating.
From Canada you need to show sufficient income, tax etc... before you can file an application.

You should have informed them of marriage, and then the baby in due time.

Best way out.
Inform VO about family change and ask for the required updated forms
Meanwhile get there documents ready. Birth certificates, ID's, Passports, marriage certificate, PCC for wife etc.
Then follow VO directives....
This whole process may take 3-4 months, maybe more. By that time you will have funds to show.
Almost every email directive from VO gives a time span of 30 or 45 days in such scenarios, use the last week in either.

If you have the intention... Start today...
Not something, which cannot be done.

Best of luck

I recently raised a CSE making an inquiry from VO if I could send in my PCC since they didn't request for it with MR. I got a response today to go ahead with the submission.

Do I send the VO scanned copies by email or I would have to send it via courier?

I'm considering the cost implication in case VO requests for additional docs (Updated POF, Updated Schedule A, Receipts for paypent of RPRF etc).
