Hi Guys,

After a long wait... 1 yr and 1 month, yesterday my previous office (where I have claimed points for) was visited by High commission guys for a PV. Everything went fine, as I have been told coz they were shown everything they asked for, when shud I expect to hear from them. My timeline is on left. If they have to dispose off my case within the processing times,,,,,

Thanks,

Which city are you from ?? I have similar timeline like yours.. I may also expect verification these days...

Friends,

I have noticed recently that few "Decision Made" ecas updates have come without "Medicals received" updates.

Is it safe to assume that "Medicals received" ecas updatehas been stopped by CIC, rather they are issuing PPRs after 5th line?

Thanks.

things are going quite strange for everyone now, so you cant assume anything now, but it seems that its for groups of people not single cases.

I don't think local police asks for any sort of letter asking for PCC. I think you can now apply online through local police (previously it was issued by DCP office) or PSK. As far as I know you can straightaway get it issued.

I am the main applicant,I showed money in my spouse name in the application.should I open the account in Spouse name as previous.

What should I take in addition to my COPR and pp to show at the airport.

Hi,

Don't know about funds transfer, but as per visa office's response, you're allowed to carry only traveler cheques, cash or bank draft. This is clarified by me from Colombo Visa office.

Hi friends,

Good Day!!!!!!!

Happy to inform you'll that by the grace of GOD.I received PR to Canada. It took exactly 1 year for the entire process.

We are a family of four but I alone applied due to my younger sons ill-health.Now when can I apply for my dependents. Can I sponsor being in India or after going there.

Regarding POF for landing,if we open a bank account in Welcome Canada account from ICICI bank and take a letter from them, will this suffice the requirement. Please suggest.and also let me know how much amount I have to carry

I did medicals on 27th august. Got decision made (without medicals received line) on 18th September and passport request on 22nd September.
