I am mechanical engineering having 7+ years of Sales & Marketing experience for engineering companies (In India), planning to start classes on CAD Mechanical software bcz i want to switch my line from marketing to design. My wife is MBA (finance) +CFA having experience in equity research. We are planning to land Toronto in end of January. Just want to know that is it right choice or we have to rethink over our landing city.

2. We started processing your application on November 24, 2014.

I have sent an email to my Canadian consultant today, as 12th sept was a Saturday. Could someone please let me know what would be the relevance of the 4th line? I haven't received MR yet, though, telephonic verification was done on 30th July.

Friends,

I received my PPR last week and submitted passports to VFS. We must travel before this year end. The problem is with my children's school, can they come back after two weeks of short landing with my wife and can I collect their PR cards as primary applicant?

PR card will be sent to the address you give it to them at the oint of landing and then if its your address and your there then you can collect it

Hi Amit it seems we are in same boat
i have got exactly same status as yours
but my fourt line reads we have sent you medicals on september 9 2015

So hopefully yours must be medical instruction as well

My timeline and major events:
October 16, 2014: Application reached CIC
January 19, 2015: PER issued
June 24, 2015: Medical and RPR fees request
June 28, 2015: Got married and informed LVO for extension of medical and amendments required in application.
July 02, 2015: LVO asked for updated information, documentation and RPRF for me and my wife.
August 03, 2015: Updated forms and documents provided to LVO
August 07, 2015: Medical Instructions received
August 20, 2015: Medical Examination conducted
September 09, 2015: Passport request received
September 14, 2015: Passport submitted

Email and call ur consultant and tell dem to check there email both d spam mail. I said call dem not just email.

On 10.09.15 found following updates in my ECAS:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on August 20, 2014.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 16, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on December 1, 2014.
4. We transferred your application to the Manila office on December 9, 2014. The Manila office may contact you.

On 10.09.15 I also received my GCMS notes which I raised on 11.08.2015. No negative notes were found and total point count as per CIC is 69. As per GCMS notes file transferred to manila on 03.03.15.

Assessment says the following:



How to order for GCMS notes
Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Not Started
Medical: Not Started

When can I expect MR or what will be the next step? Any Idea?

Note: There are many applicants who had selected SGVO as their their original VO. However due to heavy workload SGVO transferred some files to MANILA VO.
