Canada's entry requirements are changing

Starting March 15, 2016
, if you are a permanent resident of Canada and a citizen of a visa-exempt country, you will need to travel with your Canadian permanent resident (PR) card or permanent resident travel document when flying to Canada. Otherwise, you may not be able to board your flight to Canada. Permanent residents who are citizens of visa-required countries will continue to need to show their PR card when boarding a flight to Canada.

If you are in Canada and do not currently have a permanent resident card, find out how to apply for a permanent resident card.

If you are outside Canada and do not have a PR card or your card is expired, find out how to apply for a permanent resident travel document.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=64&t=10

PLAN YOUR SHORT LANDING ACCORDINGLY AND CAREFULLY

Will this document "Permanent resident travel document" be required even for those completing their landing formality after 15th March?
Please advice.
Thanks

Thanks so much for your reply brothers, but could you please tell me what application did you use for merging the final PDF ?

& What did you do with the GENERIC form !! because it's Secured and it doesn't accept splitting or any kind of editing!!

Dear,
I had a similar issue few days back when they requested updated forms,
and needed to attach a sheet to the form (most forms are secured and will not allow splitting or merging)
I printed all forms, signed and dated where required.
Scanned all in a sequence as pdf including the extra sheet as the last page for that form.
I used pdf professional to attach all in a proper sequence. It hardly takes a minute.
Remember each form should be as a separate document.

Hope it helps.

HI Friends,

My VO is NDVO but file transferred to CVO.

I received PPR yesterday.ECAS changed to decision made and then received PPR.I did medicals on 20th August and paid RPRF on 22nd August.

In ECAS nothing is updated regarding medicals, that they have received.

Its a direct Decision made with PPR.

Is it mandatory that we receive acknowledgement from CVO that they have received medicals or not.
Congrats. Since u got the ppr and dm then no need to worry about the MD update in ECAS. It's a matter of time and they will update it accordingly . :)

can you please tell me what do they say whilst talking to your owner, do they directly inform that they are calling from cic and you have put up file for Canada immigration.

Received MR request for spouse today. I send spouse addition docs on late March after my MR. Visa office SGVO

One question regarding this. They mention to send landing fee for spouse and bio page of me and the spouse. But no mention about updated schedule A form or photo.

Is that normal? Do they request photographs during passport request?

Those who added spouse recently please respond.
