i got my gcms report few days back and it says nothing started yet.only eligibilty passed. rest is not started.
i applied notes in march last time and it was saying the same things as now. :

try to add new info to ur file like promotion of job or residence change..#keep in mind- minor changes only# via CSE

Hi I added my baby's documents on April 2015 and me, my wife and my baby have not received a MR yet as my Second Line was Updated on Oct 2014 and last communication with the VO in June 2015 said that Background verification is going on...
Has anyone in my lines got a MR recently and when was it received..

I am moving to Canada next month and have some queries which you can help me with.

1) what are possible questions that immigration authorities at Delhi/Mumbai can ask ? what to say when they ask me that am I going to return back to India ? or am I going to surrender my Indian passport?

2) Do we also have to go via immigration at our halt points such as london/munich .. or we only go through security checks at stopovers?

Please help.

Should it be a CSE with describing the change in writing OR the travel form should be sent again ?
As the travel form cannot be saved, in that case what should be done ?

Unless you have worked for a government organisation things should be easy. If you work/ed for government organisation then you might be asked about relieving orders or leave certificates. Other than that they might ask random questions such as where are you going, why are you going, etc..

2) Do we also have to go via immigration at our halt points such as london/munich .. or we only go through security checks at stopovers?

If the transit is in the same airport, you don't have to undergo immigration clearance in either munich or London. Things are different if anyone transit through US of A.

Always start with a CSE and do as the VO advise you..

This is a rather naive question but please tell me how do we raise a CSE? And how is it different from sending a normal enquiry email to VO? I have always emailed VO whenever required. Please guide.

I received COPR and visa stamped, now i am planning to complete landing formalities by end of August at Toronto POE from new york by road. I have couple of clarification, if anyone can help me out its really appreciated

1) As i am working in New York and planning to go over weekend and complete landing formalities. Is it ok to say VO at POE as i will be staying for 4 days only, when he ask as how long i am planning to stay.
2) Can i give my New york address or do i need to give canada address for PR card to be received
3) How to show Proof of funds, does bank statement is good enough or do we need letter from Bank with stamped and signature from bank manager
4) I read in forums its good to fill PR forms, where can i get instructions to fill the forms and also forms to be downloaded
4) Can i take our own car now, as in some forums it was suggested not to take it if not permanently moving now
5) Is there any check list of documents to be taken.

Forumites, need an clarification on the following issue.

My sons passport is expiring in august next year. I am planning to land next march. I am sending his current passport for stamping. But before going there should I need to renew his pp.i read somewere that during the last six months of pp duration one cant travel. Is it correct? If so can he travel on the renewed passport as the old passport will be attached with the renewed one. Will it be an issue at the time of landing. And for the ones who received copr does it contain passport details.
