Hi Guys
Need advice on the below.
I was working as Procurement Manager ( points claimed ) and now I have joined as Senior Sales Engineer in different company..
I have done my medicals 30-03-2015 and file is stuck-up with criminality check for months ( as per gcms notes )
my query is

1)
I already informed them about my resignation from the previous company.
But, did not inform them about my new employment
Do I have to inform CVO about it?
Will there be further delay if I inform them?

2)
Will there be any negative thoughts in the mind of visa officer as I have joined as Senior Sales Engineer where as I was working as Procurement Manager

Pls advise guys

After long wait now I am at the last stage of the process but complications are still there. My consultant already eaten 4 days and then told me about my PPR. Then he again wasted 10 more days and today he sent email to NDVO for my spouse passport submission in NZ for stamping.

God knows by when they will reply as we already wasted 15 days and left with 15 days now :(

I am so worried about my application ....please share if anyone went through this situation and what was the result.

If you communicate a valid reason for delay within current deadline they will happily give you extension.

Hi All :)

Hope u people having fun.
Want to know can I submit my spouse's birth certificate issued by hospital to visa officer?
Thanks and BR

Yes you can. But if there is any other birth certificate issued by the school/government that will be even better. If not then send a letter too explaining why you do not have a certificate issued by school/government hence you are submitting the one issued by hospital. Then the ball will be in their court, they will either accept it or will get back to you explaining what you can alternatively do to fulfill the requirement.

Guys !!! How this group has evolved !!

Nice to be back though for a short time. Really not finding time due to hectic schedule and also facing connectivity issues as I am away from home for a while now.

Accessing the forum after almost 3 months time. Pleased to inform that with Gods grace and the good wishes of all of the forumites, I finally got the PPR on 23rd july and DM on 28th july. My consultant conveyed the PPR mail to me just yesterday (unfortunately I had gone through a consultant where almost all work was done by me itself). Booked flight tickets for 15th Sept to Toronto.

Congrats Bro!!..V. happy for u..Best wishes +1 :):)

Query:

I may get stamped passports in next 8-9 days and our Medicals were done in March 2015.

I have a query pertaining to the same and its 3-fold:
1. The visa expiry date will be the same as expiry date of Medicals or will the expiry date be 1 year from date of issuance?
2. If the visa expiry date will be 1 yr from date of issuance, do we have to do 1st landing before medicals expire or before visa expires?
3. If we have to land before visa expires and we chose to land after March 2016 do we have to do fresh medicals before we leave India?

Experts please let me know what you think.

Visa expiry date will be one year from the date your Medicals were submitted by Hospital to CIC...As in yes, expiry date of Meds and the first Single-entry Visa is same

2. If the visa expiry date will be 1 yr from date of issuance, do we have to do 1st landing before medicals expire or before visa expires?

You have to do 1st landing before Visa expires..As I explained in point 1, both dates are same

3. If we have to land before visa expires and we chose to land after March 2016 do we have to do fresh medicals before we leave India?
The Visa will already be extended till maximum possible validity (i.e. 1 year from the date of Meds), it cannot be reissued or extended any further, this point will be written clearly on the Leaflet to be given to you, if u can't land before Visa expiry date, ur Visa will expire again u will have to start the entire process from scratch, it's not as simple as retaking Meds :)

Experts please let me know what you think.

Hi All, Need some expert advice... Planning to leave to Toronto by mid Oct'15 along with wife and kid. Wife(Applicant) and kid will return to India after 15 days of stay and will be back by April 2016 after the school completion of my kid. I will continue to stay in Canada and not leaving atleast for a year...

I was told by one of friend to stay atleast 2 months in Canada with whole family(cant afford so much leave for my wife and kid).... My question is

1. Will there be any issue in receiving the PR card by me in Canada(secondary applicant).
2. Can i give a friend's permanent address in Edmonton for receiving the PR card. Then it can be couriered to Toronto by her to me.

I guess my friend is wrong when he says 2 months minimum. Any expert opinion here... ::)

Yes it works. No need to stay 2 months and also you can give your friend address to collect PR card. Also make sure that PR card has to be send to your wife and son by means of courier or any other way. They need it while return to Canada...

Is collection of PR card by a friend when the PR holder has left Canada not illegal (sending a government ID card via courier outside of Canada)?
Is there any risk to following such a method? Is such a method approved by the Canada immigration authorities or will they object to it if they come to know about it?

I read somewhere online that at rare instances the PR cards are not mailed to the mailing address and the PR card holder will be asked to go personally to the office to collect the PR card. Is this true?

Dear friends,
I have received my PR visa stamped passport and planning to fly by late September as ticket prices are a little lower then.

Please let me know whether I need transit visa if there is a stop over in any US airport before the connecting flight takes me to Toronto. If yes, how much will it cost?
If the stop over is in the UK, will I need a UK transit visa?

Request for an answer asap. Thx a ton.

regards,
