Hi,

I need advice/guidance on immigration, I have recently got Permanent Residence of CANADA and now I am planning to relocate.

There is a company in Montreal, Quebec, who is willing to give me work on contract .

1) Since I do not have CSQ, Can I land in Toronto? do Immigration formalities at the airport, get SIN and move to Montreal in next 2 days and then work in Montreal?

2) I need to register a Sole Proprietorship for the contract work in Montreal, Can I register Sole Proprietorship in Ontario and work in Quebec for a company on contract?

3) Since I do not have CSQ, will there any problem in getting Health Cards in Quebec?

Thank you for the Help!

I have received PPR request today. In the email, i am asked to inform NDVO incase of any changes in family or availability of funds.

On 15 July, my FD auto-renewed that I had shown in FSW application & the account number of FD has changed.

Should I inform NDVO of this change while submitting passports at VFS office?? Kindly suggest seniors......

Congratulations Buddy !!! :) :) :) You do not need to inform NDVO about the renewal. Submit the passports and you are good to go

Based on the experience of many applicants whom I know, if you carry $10K in Cash or Bank draft along with a recent online bank statement then it should be fine.

You can carry 10-12K. However, you must carry proof for all 18260CAD as it can be checked by immigration ppl at the time of landing and if u arent able to show 18260CAD at that time, you will be deported.

Lord Krishna bless us all!!

Thanks friend
But can we carry POF as my Indian FD or PPF statements also ..?
Plz advice

It is not mandatory you take $18260.
Just take whatever you can, but above $10,000 you have to declare it at the port

Friends, Need suggessions for B4 and B4a forms

We are 3 family members (me , wife and daughter). I am the PA. I will be landing first followed by wife and daughter in a month or so

I have some doubts regarding the "goods to accompany" and "goods to follow" form to be filled:

1. I am going alone, will I be taking the "goods to follow" form for the luggage and things that my wife will be bringing in ?
2. I will be in Canada for a short period of time and will come back to India then again fly back after 3-4 months. What will be my "goods to accompany" form ?

I am confused at this moment :o :o :-\ :-\ :-\ :-[ :-[ as I have started packing but don't have an Idea about these forms

Hi Nitks,

Congrats on getting job before landing.

It's totally fine if you land somewhere other than Quebec and then move to Quebec and work there. It is only the landing, you can not do in Quebec. I think you can register the business very easily, in fact it is very appreciated there. I don't think there is problem in getting health card too but not sure about that.

Hi All,

I received an email from BWJ yesterday asking for additional documents.

-Contract of employment, job offer letter, payslips and bank statement showing corresponding salary deposits
-Explanation as to how you became a digital trafficker including education/courses taken
-Updated original police certificate(s) for you and your spouse from India
-Updated original police certificate(s) for you and your spouse from the United Arab Emirates

I have a question on the second point. What should I mention in the explanation letter? I received all training in-house but have no certificate which proves that i attended those trainings.

As I gained experience I became superior in this field and started working as Digital Trafficker.

Any suggestion?

Regards,
Sarvesh

The FSW 2014 program under which you have been selected is for landing, work and settlement in Canada(other than Quebec) Legally you can not work in quebec There is risk at later stage when you get your pr renewed ,apply for citizenship etc. Quebec has its own FSW program under which it selects workers and has a different criteria.

Remember the application for FSW 2014 asks for provinces(other than Quebec) where you want to settle. So your action will negate what you filled at time of application.
You will not get a health card in Quebec as working there will be illegal.
I am not sure if you register a business in Ontario and do business with Montreal firm
