For the benefits of other who don't know. I used to go to the one status check page directly. Today I accidentally I reached the URL from a different page.
I noticed that they update the online status only on tuesdays. I dont know when they changed the process.

ECAS updates happen throughout the week.
The information at CIC website is misleading which has been cleared on this forum many times in past.

Hi All,

Need an advice pls.

I am FSW 2014 applicant and planning to land in Canada in Sep 2015.

I had initially put toronto as my destination but now planning to land in Edmonton, Alberta.

On my documents, they mentioned Toronto as city of destination.

Would that cause any issues if I land in Edmonton instead of Toronto?

Finally the wait is over and patience has paid off big time. By the grace of God and blessing of our parents, we have received our PPR in the afternoon today from WARSAW. I would like to thank each and every one of you here in this forum for the support and type of encouragement that you guys show towards people whom you have not met, not know etc.
It was a journey that i will never forget in life and never get away from this forum as this the prime source of info for every bit about Canada.
Thank you all once again.

Newbie here, great forum and support from the "Forumites" Please I want to know if anyone has had any experience with SPUTUM test. I did sputum test after medical and it is over 9 weeks now I'm yet to get the result. I understand that the result normally comes out within 6-8 weeks, a bit worried as to why the delay is this much. Would appreciate any comment in this regards. My actual medical is well over 3 months as well, I was told that there was no request for 2nd x-ray, so I'm just waiting........

Hello Everyone, I received PPR from WVO on 13 July, 2015 and Submitted my Passports via VFS Nepal to NDVO on 14 July,2015. Now the online status is telling Passport is being processed at NDVO. When can I expect to collect my Passport from VFS........

I submitted PP on 07/07/2015 via VFS Hyd to NDVO and got a call from VFS today to collect PP. You might get it by next week.

We are total 3 members including self

How much money I have to take along with me ...?
Is it mandatory that I have to take $18260 for 3 members or
I can take just 10k-12k with me ...?

Hi all those are waiting for PPR..

I got to know that why these days we are not getting any PPR from NDVO because they are working on student visa catagory and we will not get any PPR until next month end.

What do you say guys....do u know the trend of previous years.

It is not mandatory you take $18260.
Just take whatever you can, but above $10,000 you have to declare it at the port
