Do you have any idea how long it could take more?

There is no definite time frame for this, can take anywhere between 3 to 8 months. You can raise a query if it has exceeded the the Visa Office's normal processing times. You are most likely to receive a standard reply to your query, 'Background check is in process, no action needed from your end'. The worst part is there is nothing you can do about it, try and take your mind off it. Is your third line updated?

Also, June 30 might be the next brought forward date...hopefully, they are reviewing your file right now!! Hope for the best and relax.

Hi, thank you for the valuable opinion. I am opening an account with Scotia through Kotak. By the waty, have you landed?

Hi Anil,

No, not landed yet. Exploring employment options. Would ideally prefer to have a job in hand before landing.
I am targetting a landing date of Nov-Dec.

I am sure, you will receive good news soon. Most likely, your CAIPS notes were generated prior to 30th June and therefore you see the blanks...Hang in there!

After a long wait, finally a dream came true for me. Still seems like a dream to me. I would like to thank this community for providing me an emotional support in addition to immense knowledge. I will always be contactable through this forum for people who need inputs from my end.

Soon, I will be landing in Toronto and would like to share my experience with you all.

Thanks friends and seniors :)

Regards
Karan Sharma

Not sure if it is generated on 26th May, but it is definitely before June 30, there is generally a lag from the time they process to the time you receive.

Hi Friends,

Today, NDVO called in my office for verification. Luckily, I was in office ;D.

The first asked HR about my joining etc and then asked if I am there. I talked with the Lady for about 15 minutes and they asked me many questions about job, company , family etc.

At the end she said that we will get back to you soon.

Hopping everything is fine.

Regards,
Amar
Happy to hear about the news...
Finally they started working on your file...
Wish you speedy ppr....

Hi All ,

Lets pray that all pending second liners receive their MR soon....

My Time line :

Application Recd : 14 May 2014
PER : 03-09-2014
SLU : 27-10-2014
NDVO
NOC : 2174

But No medical so far. Raised CSE. Recd a standard reply two months back stating that background verification in progress. Received GCMS notes two months back. It shows :
Eligibility : Passed
Medical : Not started
Criminality : Not Started
Security : Not Started
Due date given under Medical is : 26/08/2015
But in the beginning of the report , there is a due date which is 30-06-2015.
No kind of job verification so far.
ECAS still shows 'In Process'.
Anything to be worried as of now?
Experts pls share

Hi Everyone,

I got an update on my profile.

"A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Also, I have submitted my passport to VFS office. Does this mean the interview round is waived off and now directly Visa will be issued if everything goes fine? Are there any more steps pending after this or...?

Regards,
Swapan

Hi again everybody!

Thanks for everything regarding our immigration process; we are planning to go to Canada on August 17th; now we need of your help one more time:
I have the "Goods to follow" forms and I'm planning to bring them with me, but we want to send some things before we arrive to Canada, in FedEx (and DHL too) they said to me that we would have to pay some taxes for this items if we don't have them already declared... how can we do?

Thanks a lot for all your help again!

Best regards,
