Friends,
After the visa stamping I've started looking for job from past few weeks but no luck..
I got a serious advice from my friends that we need to be in Canada to get a job there. But my idea is to look for job being in India and working, rather than leaving the current job in India and going to Canada in search of job.

So the question is - Is it too difficult to get the job in Canada being in India? I am in IT and I work on niche technology. What is stopping the employers to schedule interviews with people outside Canada?
Are they particular about the recruitment to be carried out within the country? Or is it because the market is too bad over there.. I hear IT market is reasonably good.
Any tips around how to deal with this problem? Need advise guys.....

I want to do short landing for a month in canada. and at the time of landing I will give my brothers address who is staying in canada.

after short landing, I want to stay out of canada for 6 months and then make permanent landing, due to some present job issues.

I want to know, what are the negative aspects of short landing, such as PR card etc

please tell me what are the risks involved in short landing.

If there is a big risk, then I will re arrange my plans

plz suggest

thanks a lot

in canada, many of the times people want to talk to candidate in person.. also, because of immigration program , if there are 5 candidates present here itself, why anyone would arrange interview on call for India based candidates.. BUt as you said, you have niche skills, so you can try that way.. Please check if resume is as per standards etc and opportunities are there in canada for them.

Hello guys,

Alhamdolillah, by the grace of GOD, received PPR email 2 days ago :)
Just checked email and came to know. ;D

I agree with Maverick-14. Things move quite fast after MR.
I wish all the best to all those still waiting MR, PPR.
Patience is the key. Don't worry too much and good news will come soon.

Regards

Congratulations Buddy !!! :) :) :) :)

Dears,

Did anyone from NOC 0112 receive any PPR? We passed our medicals on the 8th of May and the third line was updated in the ECAS on the 15th of May. Have not heard from Warsaw visa office after then.

Please let me know if anyone has received PPR after having done medicals in May who is NOC 0112?

Thanks.

its always better to have your pr card before leaving canada... as if you leave without it to reenter canada you need travel document from your visa office... again a headache. ... its illegal to send pr card outside canada through courier etc....
I have heard from 1 of my friend in canada that in some cases they send a postal mail to the address mentioned for receiving the pr card regarding photo issue and they call candidate on specific dates to their office..
So plan your trip accordingly. ..

You are taking a big time risk buddy......be very careful
my suggestion is------ plan your trip after finishing all your formalities if you can do it within 6-10 months or so
as you have sufficient time to receive your PR card.....
Because in many cases they may check your travel history before sending you the PR card......
So beware....

Brother....many have done it...many are still doing it....the moment you cross the airport...you are a permanent resident ...period....regarding PR cards...obv it will be good if you are present in Canada...however..anyone can collect it for you .....regarding pic ...only if your picture doesn't match the required specs...you might get an email to submit it......which your relative or friend can also do....I have not heard of any interview or office visit after you becoming PR.......

Hi! I am NOC 0112, and we submitted our Meds in May 13th, third line updated May 20th, and nothing since then.. Do you think it has something to do with our NOC? Im in Mexico Visa Office.

Any advice is appreciated:

I am landing next week, but I don't have address, yet. So I will be notifying CIC about my mailing through online notification system. I see that it does not take my spouse information; just recognize my info (UCI/APPLN NUMBER).

So my question is how will I notify about my spouse pr mailing address? Or I just have to fill in my information and my sponsored spouse's PR card will be automatically mailed to my address also?

Thanks,
