I have received medical request on 2nd july 2015, with RPRF fee request and passport bio pages request. But I didnot receive any request for PCC or updated generic forms. Is it normal? Last month my friend got PCC and forms request in medical email. Will they ask for PCC in future after medicals? Any idea?..

Hi,

I have following opinions.

1. Third line will be updated only when they receive the MR reports of all of the applicants in file number..and there is no sign of medical illness in the reports. If they suspect something, they ask you to perform more further tests.

2.90/140 BP is a threshold of their normal BP range.. so its acceptable..Mine got shot up to that level because I was tensed on medical exam. day..BUt my third line got updated with in 3 weeks..so not to worry

My advice is, you please complete medicals including X ray whenever possible; and send / communicate them ASAP after that.

I read that doctors normally refer for further testing if they suspect anything might be wrong during the IME, but there has been nothing of such up until now or will they also wait until the CXRay of my spouse is received?

There will be some 6 months in between when my MR was completed and when the CXRay of my spouse will be finalized, I believe this will mean a very short time for us to prepare for landing - any advice in this regard.

get in touch with the local Canadian Visa office.
I heard it's a simple process. costs 50CAD if I am not wrong.

Not the same NOC category..But similar Timeline. June Applicant, Second line Update on 16th Dec 2014. Then after that nothing. Case Specific Enquiry sent to New Delhi VO, reply i got was that background verification are under process. very long wait. See my Timeline on the Left

I am too much worried about this please help me.
I am planning to visit Canada in September. I am the principal applicant and my husband as dependent. But recently, i found that i am 4 weeks pregnant. I am not sure if canada would allow me to enter the country.
Also, what if i visit Canada once and come back after 1 month along with my PR card and then take my baby after nine months to Canada. How will the child get its PR?

I am confused. Please help or guide me in the right direction.

Hi there
First of all you will have to inform visa office about your pregnancy so that when the baby is born you have to add your baby in your application so that the baby can accompany you later to canada with a PR....

I am planning for short landing 1st week of August and confused about how should I carry funds?
I have a family of 3. Can I carry complete amount of $ 18000 (approx) in forex card or go with traveller's cheques?

Suggest me other good options too!

I dont think there is anything We or anyone can do in this matter when background verification are going on.

But one thing that gives me patience and encouragement is the " NO NEWS MEANS GOOD NEWS".

Coz forums are full of several people who have received response from Visa office pointing out deficiencies in their Files or some other problem.
