Hello Yesh,

Unfortunately there is no definitive answer to your query.

Each application is different.
The extent and nature of background checks vary from one application to another.
The verification process can take anywhere between a week to even few months.

All I can suggest is to be patient. If there is nothing wrong with the details u furnished, it is just a matter of time.

Thanks For your help +1

The amount you showed at cio and vo is exactly the amount u need to carry 14500 CAD

No....U should note that the limits are revised by CIC each year depending on changes in cost of living....We should always carry POF while landing as per the latest guidelines, in this case, what is mentioned in the Express Entry page...->

hi guys...

I have got a situation here.
Please help me.

Initially i have applied for fsw 2014 noc 2132.
My application reached cic on 8th august 2014, and they returned my file due to credit card payment issue on 12th dec, 2014.
I filled new fee payment form with new credit card details and sent to cic on the same day.

From then, I did not receive any kind of information till now (i.e 29th June, 2015).

Not knowing what to do.
Please advice.

Santosh

I am afraid if ur CC has not been charged till now, it's likely ur Application is on it's way back....Prepare for Express Entry while waiting for ur documents to be sent back...

Also to get a definitve reply from CIC, u can mail here asking for status of ur Application->

CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca

You will get a reply in 6 weeks...Provide all relevant details in the mail including ur NOC, Date of Receipt at CIC, Name of Receiver, Courier details, Passport No., DOB, ur UCI (if u have from a previous application), etc.....Good luck!!

Friends,

Me and my family are landing after 3 weeks :D 8). I will stay for 15 days and then return back to home country.

There was a previous post of someone landed and he talked about his first days experience and the most important things to do once we land. Things like what official documents I should/must bring with me, opening a bank account, getting driving license, SIN number, medical insurance, PR card, etc..

Can someone help me find this post?

A generic doubt

Recently we had a baby and we informed CIC about it, they have asked us

1. -Processing fee for the child (if accompanying you to Canada)
Information about the fees that must be paid can be found here: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/singapore-singapour/visas/fees-frais.aspx?lang=eng

Since we already paid Right of permanent resident (which is not needed for dependednt), how can we pay the processing fee online? Is it via the same form which we paid the processing fees in the beginning?

Please help to clarify. Thanks. Shocked

I read this from CIC site : :o

A family member of the principal applicant who is under 19 years of age and is not a spouse or common-law partner, or is 19 years of age or older who has been unable to be financially self-supporting since before the age of 19, due to a physical or mental condition 150
Where a transitional provision applies, a family member of the principal applicant who:
is under 22 years of age, unmarried and not in a common-law relationship, or
is 22 years of age or older and has been unable to be financially self-supporting since before the age of 22, due to a physical or mental condition
150

all..just received info that our passports are ready for collection....going to collect today....

Go to https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/disclaimer.do

Hi

I had a query regarding my case.

My details are as follows:

NOC: 2171
VO: NDVO
First App Date: 31 st July 2014

I received MR and RPRF for my family in January. However, at that time my wife was pregnant so we had to postpone her X ray.
Now, we have had our new kid and I have sent the new child details for addition to our case.

My question is: Should I get my wife's x ray done and get it sent by myself or should i wait for CIC to inform me with the new baby's medical request? I was thinking that I should wait for their instruction and then do the medicals for my wife and the new kid together. But I might be wrong. Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You are right..u can wait, CIC will issue fresh MR for ur wife and kid :)..See sk's advice below->

Hi Buddy,

Third line will be on hold until your wife clears the medicals as per CIC guidelines. Since she was pregnant, PP did not carry out X-Ray as it is harmful for the baby.

Once your wife delivers the baby. You will need to apply for the passport for the new born baby. Inform VO through CSE with birth certificate, Passport Bio copies of baby's passport.

They will ask for the documents needed along with $150 for the addition of the new born. They issue fresh MR for both your wife and kid.

Once they clear the medicals. Third line will be updated.

Do not worry about it. Good Luck
