1) My medical was received on 27th May, 2015 but eCAS has not been updated up till today for third line
2) My Police Certificate was received at the MVO on 19th June, 2015. When do I expect decision made and passport request

Hi guys

Some advice from seniors much appreciated.

I have completed my + families medicas last week so I'm hoping to get passport requests within a month.

My current passport expires in March 2016, and our aim is to land in Nov 15. I've been advised to renew my passport but not sure whether there is actually a need or requirement to do so.

Your guidance would be much appreciated.

Ur Visa Validity will be only till Mar'16 (if u continue with the current PP) whereas if u renewed it, u could have got the Visa till June'16 (one year from the date of Medicals)

If ur plan is to land in Nov'15, and ur sure abt it, then it makes no difference...And u can renew ur PPs from within Canada...ur call

Hi Experts,

I need a suggestion, as per the GCMS my file is under verification since 17 Nov 2014.

I have worked for four employers. Out of which 2 have shut down. 1 is been taken over by the other organisation. And fourth is the one that I am working currently.

Now the question is - when I sent the application I had given affidavits for three organisations and roles and responsibilities letter was provided of only my current employer. Should I send them personal contact numbers of those who belonged to my last organisations? Or should I not interfere in their process?

It might have helped if u gave it much much earlier....Now it's already several months late and it may not help to speed up the process....Anyways, there'd be no negative impact, it mite even help if they pass on the info to the 3rd party Background Check Agencies..go ahead and inform them...

Ur VO seems to be London...If they haven't asked for PP Copy, then no need to send it..For NDVO, ppl have been specifically asked to send PP Bio-Pages...

(Note- If u have renewed ur PP mid-way then, yes definitely u need to send it..along with a cover letter advising them that ur PP has been renewed and enclosed the copy of the new PP )

I send cse to vo nd attach copy of new passports as attachment...
But didn't get any reply from ndvo...
When i received medical request i send self attested copy of my new passports(as requested by vo)...

I got the following reply as i wrote an email to NDVO.

Thank you for your email after the recent earthquake in Nepal. Please note that your file has been reviewed by a visa officer and is now pending further verifications.

For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the verifications are completed, the next steps in this application will be determined and you will be contacted. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Not sure what kind of verification has been pending and when it is completed.

Its around 6 month from SLU.

Guys,

I submitted my Passport to VFS Pune on 9th June and I have still not received it back. I wrote a mail to Delhi immigration and have got this reply

"Dear SINGLA, ANKUSH,

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Please be advised that your application has been finalised and your passport and Canadian travel documents will be sent to you through VFS soon."

How much longer will it take my Passport to come back?

Keep a minimum of 10 working days from the date sent to receive the passports back with COPR.

Yes, You can withdraw your funds now. I have not seen a case where an applicant has been asked for POF after PPR.

yes sir i applied for gcms and in gcms notes eligibility and selection are passed,medical not started,misrepresentation in progress.what does it mean

It means they have some doubt but not to wrry if your file nd documents are genuine...

By grace of god n parents and support n help of the forum have been able to complete the final stage. Have received my pp stamped. Soooo very excited. Waiting game in india over now next inning in canada will start soon . Timeline on left.
