Etihad good choice they delay sometimes from AUH but Lufthansa was not good and when they connect at any German city everything written in German so that becomes challenging u get few options only

And no, you are wrong about the German part. All signs and messages are displayed in German as well as English.

I have taken flights 5-6 times from Frankfurt and never had any language issue.
I would definitely rate Lufthansa to be the best in all airlines mentioned.
But they are mostly costlier than others.

Air India would be a cheaper option.

Thanks to all forum mates for the support so far.
We are finally making the landing in Canada on july 1st. We are planning to Drive down from U.S
We want to prepare ourself for the landing.Can some one share the list of things needs to be taken care.

1.Documentation required
2.Taking a rental car for a week. Hope it wont be an issue ?
3. we have insurance with GEICO .I spoke to the customer care.He said the same insurance can be used in Canada if we are visiting as tourist. Is this applicable for Immigration landing ? Should we require to take specific insurance
4.Proof of fund for Landing .10K USD in bank Statement/Balance certificate and 5 K USD in Cash .(For family of 3) . Hope its Ok ?

During waiting time, please can you make me understand about VFS process?

1) We are family of three so how much VFS charge for per passport?

2) Do I need to take authorization to submit passport from my family members?

3) If yes, what authorization required in my 5 year old daughter case?

4) Do VFS have option to collect passport personally or courier is mandatory?

5) What about the VFS fee if we collect passport personally?

Yesterday I got email from LVO to proceed with the Medical Examination Request and payment of Rights of Permanent Residence Fees.

I hope next process goes smoothly and swiftly Just wanna ask a question, i am going to be married in couple months, should i marry to complete my spouse's documents early to process her case along with me? or you people suggest something else?

If you wana to add your spouse thenthen it is the right time to get married...
Yes it will delay your case but as you received medicals i don't think it will delay yoir case for ages ..
I too added my spouse ...it take 8 months to get medicals but those maTes who added their spouse after medicals their processing time was bit fast than me...

Nd if you wana to add your spouse after pr then you have to sponsor your spouse

Yes I have flown Lufthansa and Frankfurt and Munich had same issues not in case of directions but in case of spending time at airport was challenging. Lufthansa is now like one of the cheapest next to jet airways here's my experience of flights flown with one liner:-

1.British airways :- good hospitality little challenge at heathrow due to crowds and expensive stuff but u still can manage and particularly flights to North America are very excellent from heathrow and gattwick.

2. Air India :- in flight hospitality is like so -so almost like self service but most spacious then every economy flights good seats.

3. Emirates:- good but v expensive and motivated more towards higher classes.

4. Lufthansa :- As mentioned before along with that they are ok types.

5. Etihad :- Good excellent apart from some delays at AUH.

6. Quantas :- good not much to say

7. Singapore :- again good but expensive but changi airport is great.

8. Cathay Pacific:- Good but expensive

9. Swiss :- best of all but v v expensive

So in my say it is this gudluck ;D
