I have been asked to send a recent police certificate and pay my RPRF, a month ago. However, they did not ask for medical exams. Any idea whats going on?

Do confirm from your centre whether they have uploaded your medicals report or not??
Usually third line gt updated in 7-15 days

i have applied on skilled worker last yr 2014. i am in USA right now. i have applied from INDIA after that i moved to USA for work.

i have checked my status from cic site its saying they have started procession on my file on Dec,8 th,2014.(in progress)

but after that date i havent get any news or update on my case.

any one can guide whats going on if any one in same situation.

Even i sent email two times but no reply..

Actually initially i was bit tensed after i received this mail. My consultant called me and showed me the mail. I thought every thing is over. But when i read the mail thoroughly, I guessed that VO has atleast given a chance. You should convince your employer that it is a last chance to submit your document. Now all depends upon this document. I hope he will help you out and pray that you get through this tough situation soon.

Hello all,

I thought of coming back to this forum after a brief silence. Most of you can see my timelines on the left side.I am currently in Ottawa, Canada and its been 15 days in Canada. Weather is good here as summer has started.

Most of you have been thinking that many active forum members became inactive once they got their visa or landed in Canada. It is not deliberately done but things will change suddenly once you start packing the things and land in Canada. Its a completely different world where you need be very strong in embracing the change, culture and things around you.

Here are few things I'd suggest you to do some ground work for the people who are aspiring to land in coming months

1/ goto canada job sites like indeed.ca, workopolis, monster and try to find jobs which match your skillset.
2/ Do not apply to any one of them. Try to understand what exactly they are asking in the job description
3/ Do some work in understanding the things they've asked in the job. Try to learn them before hand. Online / youtube will work
4/ Try to find resume online. I'd suggest indeed.ca to find existing resumes
5/ Research everything. Try to take notes for the every job you see. List down everything you know or don't know
6/ Create LinkedIn profile and try to connect canadian recuiters/headhunters. search for companies like procom, quantum, randstad, hays, adecco etc..Send emails via linkedin to recruiters that you would be available soon and try to get connected.

I hope this helps for certain individuals to get a kick start.

I am still yet to find my first job in Canada. I am currently attending workshops / meeting new people to find the hidden jobs. It would certainly take few weeks to months to get a first job.

I will post whatever I find useful to this community whenever I find time but I wont be far away from you all.

ANAJAY - Wishing you a speedy process after this. There was a big gap between SLU and MR. What was the reason for the delay in your case if you may share?
