I know of one person who had PM-ed me that NDVO agreed to an extension of a week as per his request....he had just raised CSE with NDVO...good luck!!

Thanks Arkscan, let me wait for their reply as I asked for a month extension taking it as safe side...if I get passport back soomore then I can submit early.

I have received medical request few days back... My timelines at left.

I want some help regarding my child’s medical history… By born she was having some bowl movement issue.. And it was diagnosed that she is having some issue with her large intestine when she was 1 month old.

So we have undergone a surgery after taking many expert opinions... And after the surgery at her age of 1.5 month she is living a health life without any issue. Issue completely cured. she is 2 years old now.

Will this thing effect in passing MR. ?? Please suggest...

Have you considered Jet Airways flight from Delhi to Toronto? The advantage is that you don't have to change planes.But there is a 2 hour stopover in Brussels.
With KLM you have to change planes in Amsterdam, but the stopover time is only about an hour.

Since Mumbai was closer to me... I finally booked through ebooker for ba airlines

one query...normally our passports are ECNR....do we need to change any thing before we fly permanently.....

second...my daughers passport is due for renewal mid 2016....can I renew after visa stamping and before take off now itself...so that I have peace of mind for next 5 years....please advice

NO.. this will not affect your medicals.. but make sure you tell them every detail of the problem she had & the treatment that was given. take old records of treatment with you for their reference.

You dont need to do anything in ECNR

Canadian Govt wants you to travel on the same passport in which visa was stamped. MR mail has clear cut instruction for that. BTW, they don't issues visa which is valid beyond passport expiry date.

And renewing passport in Canada will be much easier so don't worry, renew it there.

Passports with entry visa and COPR papers received via registered post from NDVO after 21 days of terror and that concludes the ball game of PR application process. Good luck to the rest of the folks waiting at different stages of the process.
