Guitarboy said:HI GUYS, NEEDS SERIOUS RECOMMENDATION HERE:
I was on my way back after getting the Med test done and then I get this bomb from CIC Colombo..
ISSUE: They sent me a letter stating I did not provide them with correct information on Schedule A for, didn't mention about my US tourist visa denial. and this could lead to refusal of my PR application.
Its true I missed that on the form.... but after getting the AOR mail form Colombo Visa office, I raised a CSE accepting my miss and sent them an email too on 23rd MAR I got SLU :update We' started processing your app on 19 May)... Despite raising CSE and sending the mail I got no response...
And then yesterday i get a mail that CVO suspects I may have misrepresented and hidden facts and have given me 30 days to explain myself..
RESOLUTION: I am thinking to write them an apology letter explaining that i over-looked the verbatim and didn't read it correctly but when I realized my mistake I raised a CSE and sent an email to the CVO on 23rd MAR... I will also attacth a copy of mail from the Sent items of mail box stating date and time...
PLEASE SUGGEST: what else can i do to make my case stronger..
DO reply... it a matter of Life and death...I know you guys understand as fellow applicants...
much regards
Guitarboy
It's always best to post out documents. CSEs on their own aren't fully reliable. On this occassion, you have to do both raise a CSE as well as send out New Schedule A form, apology letter clearly explaining that you did inform VO and all the evidence to prove that you really did inform VO about this, then you have a chance.
Generally speaking, the process is such that after getting a notice of fairness letter, there is very very tiny chance of finding a way out using apologies. Only way out is to prove that VO is wrong so focus on that, in their system to revoke a notice of fairness, VO has to sign a letter accepting that they made a mistake in issuing your notice of fairness in order to revoke it. So you have to present strong enough reasons to convince VO to admit making a mistake.
