Hi,
I have observed that some members have mentioned their Visa issued date before the PPR and submission on their timelines.
Just what to understand how it works?
Thanks

thanks...but I heard vfs allows only between 9 am to 11 am for passport submission....is it right?

No it's not...Check the hours here->

http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/india/contact_us.html

Usually PP Collection (i.e. taking back the PP with stamped Visa) is restricted, but submission can be anytime over the working hours...:)

Yes :)

Basically on the day that ECAS updates DM for u-> this means that a day or two earlier, the Visa Officer finalized his decision on ur file........So when he finalized the file, that means, he decided to grant u the Visa/ not grant it...(of course, this year, 4th line as DM means Visa is issued ;))..So that means Visa is issued on the day the Officer reaches DM (which may be before u see DM update on ECAS/ receive the PPR mail)..The final print of the Visa seal will contain this Visa Issued Date..

PPR, stamping of the Visa seal, etc are administrative tasks then...carried out by a separate Department in NDVO :)..Hope I could make it clear...

Hi Friends

Just a query
My wife is the principal applicant & she got her WES done while
Filing her application.
Our file is on the verge of getting stamped , I wanted to know whether
It would be mandatory for me as a dependent as well to go for WES evaluation
For my set if degrees to find jobs @ Canada

Plz let me know with your expert advice so that I can plan well in advance.

Is it recommended to go in mid OCT to Toronto

In the CIIP Session, it was recommended to get the WES Evaluation...not mandatory, may not even be required in most cases, but best to get it done....

Winter starts from Mid-Nov...and the winter season is usually a low recruitment period...assuming ur going for permanent landing, ur giving urself very little time to settle down, adjust to the cold and hunt for jobs...Recommend going a month earlier or postpone it after the winter....

Which means visa issue date is DM date or 1 or two days before and visa end date is exactly 1 year from the date.?

Nopes, Visa end date is exactly one year from the Meds Upload date...i.e. the Date the Hospital uploaded your medical results to CIC...which is why it's best if the MR to PPR delay is not much..to give maximum time for landing....

Hello Friends,

In how many days does one get passport back from VFS?

Thanks

Oh, I did my medicals on 14th Jan and 3rd line was on 21st Jan, so the visa end date will be somewhere in mid of Jan 2016?

Also, I will get some news max in 7months(just for argument sake)?

Congrats,

can you pl share your PP submission & received date at VFS???
