Firstly, nothing to worry as your file is processing normally and often files goes through FRR (further review required) & FRP (for revised processing). I think IO is still reviewing your file and some BC are pending related to employment or POF. Once BC are cleared then u will beissued with your MR.

Hope this helps !!

Thank you very much. I was guided by other forum member to check on top right corner for s.16(c) in 2-3 pages but could not observe any whitened notes. Is there a problem with this?

Dear All,

Recently I have received below communication from Colombo visa office. Although I have mentioned my previous visits to other countries clearly but some I overlooked the clause for visa refusal.

VO has given me 30 days to provide the justification for same, Can someone please help me how to proceed?

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Subsection 40(1)(a) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act 2001 states that a foreign national is inadmissible for misrepresentation for directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts relating to a relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of this Act. Paragraph 40(2)(a) specifies that the foreign national continues to be inadmissible for misrepresentation for a period of five years following, in the case of a determination outside Canada, a final determination of inadmissibility under subsection (1).

In September 2014 you and your spouse completed Schedule A applications declaring that you have never been refused a visa to Canada or any other country. You declared these applications to be truthful, complete and correct. However we have information that you, your spouse and your son were refused Non Immigrant Visas.

I will allow you 30 days to address this concern. At the end of this time period I will make a decision on your application with or without a response.

Thanks in advance.

This is really tough for you at this time, buddy. Other experienced members already advised it's late at this time to do anything but better late than never to correct it. I wish you all the very best after sending your explanation letter to CIC. One little thing I'm curious to know is whether you forgot that you had a visa rejection as it happened too long ago or it happened with a different country which made you think it was not related to Canada?

Hello forumites please advise about the chances of interview after medicals.
Thanks...

From the global spreadsheet the chance is low at 0.15%. This is the total applicants requested to attend an interview, before or after MR. From what little I know, VO's don't have the intention to request for interviews unless very needed and the purpose is usually to validate info they doubt from the application, be it related to work, family status or academic credentials... The purpose is never to test language skill or to hear the applicant's defense on his/her immigration plan. Anyway, I'm speaking from my qualitative understanding on FSW1 only.

GCMS notes costs 28$ at visa file.

With relatives in Canada they can apply directly to the authorities, receive it and send it to you. It'll cost 5$ in this case

Congrates for your mr....
can you please share your time line,
