Dear friends happy to inform its Decision Made for us and i have doubt and need an advise from our friends.

We have been called for interview after medicals and third line update, and our interview held in may last week and it went successfully, at the end of our interview the Visa Officer asked us to submit the original passports and said they will dispatch to our mailing address, and yesterday after decision made we also got a PPR request mail, so now except passports if i want to submit the recent photographs and other details doc the vfs wont accept only docs without passports. i feel its a system generated mail which triggers after DM and hopefully in our case as the passports are already with the VO they will send us shortly.. Appreciate your help and dialogue on the situation please.

Dear stallion123,

Its not something that I hide knowingly. I know the importance of facts as I have gone through visa processing multiple times. Its the ignorance from my side due to which I skipped while filing the application.

Auto_art has already given u the template...The important thing is to convince them now..Just tell them the truth abt. why u made the mistake in ur letter- be polite, and humble, attach documentary evidence of ur US Visa rejection and pray & hope for the best....

I had the same problem: Take photocopies of the passports, in black and white and 4 pages per sheer (eg..page 1 and 2 on top, 3 and 4 at the bottom of the sheet), now scan this and convert it to PDF using any free software. I was able to send 3 passports (60, 30 and 30 pages) and the total size was about 3.5 MB.

You should reply to that PPR mail informing them of ur earlier PP submission at the Embassy...Plus raise a CSE..Mark as 'Urgent'

And possibly send the photos to NDVO via courier..no other option....

they need your recent photos to print the COPR...

B4 is main form, and B4a is annexure.
Note: B4a specifically mentions that accompanying goods and to goods to follow shud be seperate, but B4 has not such restriction.


Another major difference is B4 can be saved for future editing, while b4a can not be saved. So never close it (u can open more instances for additional use) till u have finalized or simply fill it by hand.

How to fill them

B4 has 8 lines (if i remember correctly) divide all ur stuff in 8 categories (1 [or more] for accompanying goods and 7 [or less] for goods to follow). Actually, customs is only interest in goods to follow but still as it is required so dedicate one row to it.

How to fill them

Categorize ur stuff as Jewelry, electronics, books, clothes, kitchen items, Wooden items etc etc as per ur requirement.

on B4 form just write

Category 1 (As annexed form "Category 1") CAD XXX (u can use ur own currency but its better to report in CAD)
...
...
Category 8 (As annexed form "Category 1") CAD XXX


on form B4a for Category 1 (lets assume its clothes to follow)

Item 1 (e.g. 1 box of male formal clothes) CAD XXX
Item 2 (e.g. 1 box of female formal clothes) CAD XXX
Item 3 (e.g. 1 box of kids clothes) CAD XXX

Total CAD YYY (goes to b4 form)

For Jewelry and other expensive items u have to have pictures (for both accompanying and to follow) in set of 2 (1 for their record and 1 for ur)........ if u don't take picture of accompanying jewelry... u wud have to get it appraised (after paying some fee) inside Canada before u leave with tht piece of Jewelry for first time to prove to customs on ur return tht u had it before leaving, else u will have to pay tax.

Thus, the only important thing in accompanying goods is Jewelry and expensive items tht u may travel with in future. for all other items u can simply mention 6 bags of clothes, utensils, electronics, etc etc amounting to CAD ZZZ.
