Hi,

I'm new to this discussion board. I applied for FSW PR visa in 2014 for which I received a second line update as:

2. We started processing your application on January 5, 2015.

5 months since then, I did not receive any other email from CIC for Medical request or interview. Does it mean I have less chances to get a visa now? I assumed it hardly takes 1 month to receive MR after getting PER.

Who said 1 month.. see the excel sheet of this forum.. average time between PER to MR is roughly 3 months. Hope you have scanned through your email (inbox and spam) carefully and have not missed the MR email. You can go for GCMS notes to see your progress or you can email your VO to ask for progress or raise CSE.
Remember.. No news is good news.

Badly need your advise.

Medicals done on 20/05/15 and third line updated on 28/05/15.

PPR has not come still and am waiting to hear.

No 4th line update also.

Am very much worried. pls help me.

When can i expect the PPR request or 4th line update.

no need to worry priya.
It usually take 15- 60 days for the PPR or even more in some cases.
But rejection is rare after the 3rd line update.

I had received my PPR in 28 days.
Be positive. All is well

Have you tried gcms notes to see where your file is stuck

My name Gourav...new here....help required........MY PER 17 Feb got AOR on 7th April from Colombo....but yet no second line or MR.....and i am starting to worry now ...please advise what should i do ?

are you really that the rejection rates are very rare after third line updated?

But still waiting for the PPR Request!!!

heard, the third line gets updated only after they approve your medical results and also that Visa is sure after the medical results are updated.

After Long long wait with Decision made Status, finally PPR Dropped in Inbox today 11.28 am.

My timelines:
Visa Office: NDVO
Application received: 25/08/2014
Second line update: 12/12/2014
MR : 14/03/2015
Medical done : 20/03/2015
Medical uploaded : 28/03/2015
Third line update : 04/04/2015
Decision Made : 08/05/2015
&
Finally PPR : 08/06/2015

Thanks to everyone for their constant and wonderful support through out. I will keep on updating as i move further.

My best wishes for everyone waiting for MR/DM/PPR and all.......

Yes, rejection rates after 3rd line r close to zero, if u have NO criminal record and ur security check is clean.

Don't forget that there r hundreds of applications lined up with the visa officer, who may have decided to go on leave right after updation of 3rd line etc etc.

Relax and start packing ur bags.

Edit: vinodkr (above) just got PPR on 32 day ...... going by that TAT urs cud arrive by 28th June.

In my case PPR mail came first & 4th DM line got updated perhaps after 3-4 days

I got DM on 8/5/2015 and then PPR on 8/6/2015 from NDVO

I dropped emails everywhere but still not getting any reply . Little worried. need to submit passport by 24june.Whats shall I do. Book tickets and fly back immediately??? I have just arrived here 10 days ago. please suggest if anyone has any experience or any info to share.

Have patience. Check my time line on left it took five months for me to get second line update and 35 days between medical done and medical received.

First of relax...... u seem to be very stressed, which has impaired ur ability to think clearly. U even forgot that most of the ppl won't remember what u said 2 days ago about ur scenario.

I am not highlighting a mistake, but a need to relax and think clearly.

Having said that, if u r in NewZealand for another 15 days (it seems u r there for at least another 2-3 months) . Try contacting Canadian Embassy in New Zealand.... most probably they will arrange for ur visa to be stamped in NewZealand (yes, visa can be stamped from different VO)........ or VFS http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/NewZealand/ can arrange for ur visa to be be stamped from NDVO.

P.S: Do bring Pavlova for myself, one ur visa is stamped.
