Bro,

Give it 2 weeks time for the passports to be returned along with copr. I submitted my Passports on 6th May and got them back on 23rd May.

Pl recommend some good providers/policies

Buddy,

Provinces other than British Columbia and Ontario provide Health insurance from the day you have landed in Canada.

For Ontario & British Columbia provinces, there is a 90 day waiting period before you apply for health insurance from the land you land

Hi. I think my timeline is quite the same as yours. I am waiting for my PPR since the DM update on the 9th May. Will let know if I receive anything from them in due course.

The email from NDVO would have stated that you should contact them if u didn't receive the 2nd mail within 48 hours...I hope u contacted them and marked urgent...

The 2nd email contains the IMM1017 Form with ur IME (Immigration Medical Exam) No...This IME No. is used by the Hospital to attach ur Medical exams to CIC..If u take it without this form then there would definitely be a delay in attaching ur Meds results to ur file (and a delay in 3rd line update)...Suggest u wait for the 2nd mail..

Collecting visa from NDVO was just a formality the last week after I got my PPR on 22nd May,
Visited Delhi Visa Office the other week in person, and I got all the passports (for myself and my family members)stamped duly within an hour.
The officials over there were very cooperative,
Happieeeeee to share it with you all,

One thing: you don't need an authorized letter to carry passports for your own family members, yes even for the adults.

Now I'm planning to move to either Calgery or Toronto around 1st week of August, the latter being less likely, what do you think, which place is better for survival jobs or for long term settlement ?, and what about weather threats/friendly? in both places? Please experts do advise me as you did before...

Yes friend! I got it on the 25th of June itself.
It was very fast for they invited me (in the PPR mail itself) to visit the VO in person with passports, and got visas for myself and my family members instantly,
Perhaps it was all possible since the VFS in my place have stopped their services infinitely, may be yours is a normal case and it might take a couple of days more...
