U can raise CSE to NDVO and inform the same. U can also go ahead with the upfront medicals, however panel doc may askyou for the letter from CIC. Also note its happned with few ppl they missed out on email coz it went to spam or bulk mail so just check again.

Does the email contains some applicant specific forms that Medical representative will ask for? Kindly tell..

Doc will ask you for IMM1017E form. You can download the same from CIC web if u havnt recd the same in email.

Hope this helps :)

Alberta provides medical cover to immigrnats from the day you land so I wont suggest to spend money on that. However if you are planning to change your provience after landing then you would need health insurance.

The email from NDVO would have stated that you should contact them if u didn't receive the 2nd mail within 48 hours...I hope u contacted them and marked urgent...

The 2nd email contains the IMM1017 Form with ur IME (Immigration Medical Exam) No...This IME No. is used by the Hospital to attach ur Medical exams to CIC..If u take it without this form then there would definitely be a delay in attaching ur Meds results to ur file (and a delay in 3rd line update)...Suggest u wait for the 2nd mail..
