Dear Seniors please help...

I got a mail from NDVO requesting MR & RPRF. PCC was sent with application.

But in that email, it is said that another email will be sent within 48 hours with Medical forms and more information on Medical panels.

Its almost 3 days but still no email from NDVO.

Should I wait for that email or book my Medical appointment and undergo test?? Kindly suggest...

U can raise CSE to NDVO and inform the same. U can also go ahead with the upfront medicals, however panel doc may askyou for the letter from CIC. Also note its happned with few ppl they missed out on email coz it went to spam or bulk mail so just check again.

Was bit upset waiting for the MR recieved status not reflecting on ECAS. And was about to draft question on this forum, where I saw your post and Medicals dates matched up with our NOC codes too. Thought should check ECAS again and BANGGGG... TLU (4th line in my case due to interview)

Hi, thank u for the wishes. Generally as per the forum how many days will it take for PPR from Medicals received(TLU)? Is background verification mandatory for everybody. When they'll do this. Before MR or after? Please let me know.
The delay may be because they might have kept my flie aside as I'v paid wrong DD. But even though they cud encash the DD on Mar 11th, still it is very much unusual and unfair on CIC face.

MR -> PPR usually takes a month, month and half (approx) as per the latest trend with NDVO. NDVO is quick now as majority of the application have already been processed. Though it depends totally on your IMMIGRATION OFFICER's LOAD. Its same like a customer care agent assigned tickets, in our case assigned files which they must process till the end.

Background verification is MANDATORY for each and every applicant. It usually happens once you submit your PCC and is been carried out by third party. Though it is not clear when do they conduct it before of after MR, but its initiated only after your submit your PCC.

I would suggest you to go ahead with MR process dont delay and just drop a mail to VO asking for second mail.

Hi,

Is anyone aware if we can appear for CLB (Canadian language test similar to IELTS for English) in India.

I plan to do a short course in my profession and the University in Canada is asking compulsory for CLB scores. IELTS is not longer acceptable to them.

Has anyone appeared for CLB. If so then please share the details.

I have even read that for Express Entry they are making CLB compulsory. I am not sure, just telling what i read on various blogs.
