Seniors need some advice.

I have submitted my PP for stamping through Vfs and waiting it for it come back.

Im planning to look for a new job in the same industry Im working now. Im sure that by the time I even join the new organisation I would have received my stamped PP.

My question is do I need to let CIC/WVO/NDVO or anyone relevant know that I have changed jobs?! Is that a mandatory requirement before I could land in CAnada.?

Appreciate your reply.

No its not required to inform anyone at this stage...

Depends on the validity of the PCC. Each country have their own validity rules.
I dont think address would cause a problem though.

@Nrsing3152

Can't say anything abt address...... but PCC dated 17.12.2014 is acceptable for sure. CIC accepts PCC for 12 months and even longer.

I remember reading in this forum itself that you can get in and quickly get out. But when you want to return, you need to arrange travel documents by getting in touch with Canadian embassy. that is because when u want to enter a second time, you are basically a permanent resident and hence they cant grant u a visitor or entry VISA.

However, it is possible to go, do the landing formalities and come back while PR card is still being processed.

However, you must provide them an address when PR card can be delivered, even if you are not there.

Yes, it should be ok, make sure you explain this to VO through a letter so that VO doesn't get confused.

No you wouldn't have any issues returning home because you don't have your PR card with you yet. Keep your COPR with you.

Problem arises when you want to go to Canada again because your PR visa is a single entry visa. Once it's used, you can't travel to Canada again on the same visa. You have to either ask someone to courier your PR card to you or contact Canadian embassy to provide you with a travel document.

I still haven't received MR or RPRF but at least I see some sort of movement! I was so excited to see a message from another person last night who had the same application date and a PER date only one day sooner but got MR +RPRF yesterday (6/1) Maybe I'll see MR and RPRF soon too!!! Exciting!!!
