Dear All,

Would like to share few points that might help others during the process. Please refer timeline on the left and below to have an idea on the process time against each step:

1. Added my new born child in the application. Sent all the required docs beforehand with DD to NDVO before MR request. Received MR request with my daughter's name added in the same.

2. Job change and shifted to another country. The same was communicated to NDVO along with supporting documents (New employment contract, updated travel history etc) along with the request of name addition of my child.

3. Submitted PCC for 4 countries including India with application. The PCC from India was issued from DM's office with validity of 6 months. However, during MR request, NDVO asked me to submit PCC for India as well as PCC of the Country that I am presently located. So total PCCs submitted was for 5 Countries.

4. MR was done outside India from the panel Physician listed on CIC website. The panel Physician does not have E-Medical facility. Also, they sent the reports to London by Courier instead of NDVO. The reports are sent to the Regional Medical Center which is London in my case as I am presently located in West Africa.

5. Along with MR documents, I requested NDVO to permit Visa stamping in the present Country. However, the PPR came with instructions to submit the passport at New Delhi visa office.

6. Submitting Passport other than selected VO:Replied to the same email (PPR request) by adding Urgent in the subject and requested again to get visa stamping in the present country's Visa Office. The email was sent on 26-May. The same email was written to the local visa office/embassy and subsequently I raised the CSE also with both the VOs. Got response from NDVO on 1-Jun-15 allowing me to submit the Passport with Instructions (which are different from the instructions of submitting passport to NDVO) to local visa office. Also, while writing this post, I have got response from local VO also to submit my passport.

I hope this will help fellow applicants.....

All the very best.....

Cheers.....

As per my understanding, COPR is issued along with the visa. In such a case what is the time frame/deadline for landing in Canada?

Deadline is 1 year from the day you get MR. You must land in canada in that one year.

Hi, I need some clarification.

I received PP request and there is mentioned "Passports that are not signed by the holder are not valid for travel."

What about child's passports (3 and 8 years old)? We already traveled with children or not valid to travel in Canada??

Thanks for clarification in advance

Seniors please advise,

Do NDVO return all the documents / IELTS result in specific after PPR?

We may need it the same in future. Specifically my Spouse's IELTS in original.

Thanks in advance.

No they do not return.

you may order a duplicate test report form from either British Council or IDP. Fyi, i ordered duplicate test report from from BC.

Dear Seniors,

A query please!!

I had sent all my papers including original IELTS result, PCC, passport, CAD 550 draft as spouse fee (as my wife is primary applicant), education & work documents via courier on 18th March which was recieved by srilanka office on 25th March & CAD 550 was debited & i had received the confirmation reciept on email the same day.

Now we got MR & RFPR email last week and they have again asked for these documents (my documents only) to be sent again. though i have replied to them mentioning the same but are these emails which come from immigration office Automated once or manually sent to candidates??

2nd query is whether can we send the scanned copy of original PCC (for my wife) or need to send the hard copy via courier...KINDLY advise

Regards
Kamal

> They are sent with Manual Intervention, They do paste a canned response but does manual modification as per the case requirement.
> PCC has to be submitted in Original. If you have only single copy, better scan it and keep it as proof or get a couple of copies before sending original.

Seniors need some advice.

I have submitted my PP for stamping through Vfs and waiting it for it come back.

Im planning to look for a new job in the same industry Im working now. Im sure that by the time I even join the new organisation I would have received my stamped PP.

My question is do I need to let CIC/WVO/NDVO or anyone relevant know that I have changed jobs?! Is that a mandatory requirement before I could land in CAnada.?

Appreciate your reply.
