Did you send your FBI PCC. If yes, while the process for getting your spouse's FBI PCC is in process, why don't you raise a CSE and explain that he stayed in US for 8 days, hence doesn't require FBI PCC and ask for their opinion.

Also, send them a fax seeking their advice.

Cheers !!!

No not yet ,as am going to get it within 20 days .
Would it be an good idea to keep a letter explaining the situation while sending all my MR , RPRF docs to them.Am planing to send all the documents this week.

I doubt whether you will find any written communication. Most of the people are implementing this strategy (few of them I know) and it seems the only logical possibility ....

Thanks a lot buddy.

Yes...

Along with the Cover Letter, take a printout of this page

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp

(where it mentions PCC is required only for 6 months' residence in a country)

And attach proof of ur spouse's Exit- Entry Dates from US (pages on Passport?) to explain that since ur spouse stayed in US for only 8 days, PCC should not be required and can it be waived....I think they will agree to ur request....

You can also raise a CSE though.....would be faster...

Hi, I need some clarification.

I received PP request and there is mentioned "Passports that are not signed by the holder are not valid for travel."

What about child's passports? We already traveled with children or not valid to travel in Canada??

Thanks for clarification in advance

Anyhow you have to send your FBI PCC which you will be sending as soon as you get it. It is good idea to put explanation letter regarding your spouse's PCC and seek for clarification.

Also i would suggest while you send your document (MR/RPRF), raise a CSE to seeking this clarification
