Guys any idea how much time it takes for Visa Stamping at Canada Visa Office, Abu Dhabi? I have submitted my passport to VFS Abu Dhabi on 17th May, still my tracking details is showing it is being under process..I am worried still how many days..! usually i have seen it takes almst 10-12 days for passport to get stamped..any body can guide pls..

I have done it from yatra.com for Delhi - toronto - winnipeg.
Found 6000 cheaper for I checked on ebokers.com.
I negotiated while they called up.
What kind of travel insurance you bought? What are things it covers? From where.?
Plz guide.

In a normal scenario PP stamping takes 2-3 weeks. However, someone on this forum got an email little while ago that Abu Dhabi VFS takes long to stamp passports due to huge backlog...so I guess that might be the case...U should expect your PP back in next 10-15 working days.

Thnx stayblessed....but such a huge time just for stamping? is it like normal? n more 10 days..!! ??? that would kill me..i hope u understand the anxiety of this days thou you might have waited for like months to get till here..
Also one suggestion required would it be ok if we go n contact canada visa office in abu dhabi? coz i contacted vfs yesterday saying its almost 2 weeks down n m waiting for passport..they said they can't do nethng n contact canada visa office..so thought to wait for 2 more days n plan to go there on wednesday..would it be ok if i visit there n ask? or it might create some consequences..i dont knw if they entertain such enquires or not..

Hi All,

Can any one tell me from which mail id we will receive the PPR request. It's been now more than two months that i have not received any update after my medicals are done and the third line is updated.

This is really getting tensed, i'm worried that what has happened, as i see few of the sept'14 applicants are getting their ppr.

Today i submitted PP at vfs nehru place alomg with all the docs.. But the guy at vfs returned my pp bio pages copy with the payment receipt, on inquiring he said its not needed..

Just want to know from ppl who hv submitted PPs at vfs that their photocopies of bio pages were taken or retur ed.. Has it happened to anyone else also..??

Well u r spot on...I doubt they would reply your CSE (even if they do then it would be a generic reply that your PP stamping is under progres and no need for any action from your side). Just realx and try to concentrate on other things which would help in smooth landing...having said that I do understand its not easy but thts the only thing we can do.
