Would like to inform all forum member about my landing on 29th May in Toronto.

Landing formalities were fast and hassle-free, took about 10 mins. I was not asked about proof of funds or anything.

They told me I'll get PR card in 6 weeks. Will commence job search from Monday.

Good luck to all

TLU means your e-medical reports have received in VO and it is fine. TLU and documents sent through courier have no relation.

How can you say that?

Hi stayblessed, since your friend has gotten his Visa and CoPR, I don't think it makes any logical sense to inform the VO, as the baby has not been born and there are no documents to process for a fetus. He should go ahead with his plans and have their Canadian baby, they will not be asked any questions whatsoever, however he would need to make sure that he has enough POF to include the baby when it is born.

Thnx. Then why is it mentioned in COPR that any change in family composition u must inform VO?

Hey Friends,
I did my medical at a center which is 'e-medical enabled'. I am still in the process of collecting my PCC but ECAS shows the third line updated today, I have not sent them fees paid receipt, PCCs, passport pages and the acknowledgement of medicals done, does this happen generally?

Hi guys

I am in a peculiar situation and need advice.

I received COPR and Visa in my Indian passport in May 2015 under skilled worker category.

However, I had applied for British Citizenship and although I was anticipating to get this by August but I was granted this within no time and I am now British citizen although I have not applied for the passport yet.

My big question is that is my COPR still valid? Noting that Indian government give a grace period to keep your Indian passport for 3 months can I still use it when landing in July? I am only vaguely aware of the landing procedure but I am anticipating that if I fill in some form on landing to say I am British but use Indian passport for other details, will that be acceptable. Or shall I just get my British passport and present both of these at time of landing?

I asked this question from London visa officer but all he/she said that COPR can't be changed and I need to provide a copy of my British passport when I get this.

Can you please advise if you are aware of such a case or from your own landing experience?

Kind regards

I got MR on 24/3/2015 and did medical which was e-medical on 27/3/2015. Mt TLU updated on 3/4/2015. But I had sent my medical receipts, PCCs, RPRF only on 15/4/2015. So I conclude, the VO updates TLU after receiving the medical reports which is uploaded directly by the hospital. And if there is any further clarifications necessary or additional medicals to be done, will be informed by VO separately. SO TLU and other documents received in VO have no relation.

I hope this helps Yesh Raj

I answered the same thing to Yesh Raj. TLU is updated straight after VO receives the e-medical reports sent by the hospital. This is nothing to do with your RPRF, PCCs or medical receipts. But still you have to send all the documents requested by VO within the time frame given.
