Thanks a lot and +1.

So, after online payment, they will provide any receipt or what? Which documents shall I provide for proof of this payment?

They will send you a pdf receipt that you either print and send it by courier to the embassy or just forward it by email to the embassy. It depends on the method recommended by the visa office. For my case, CIC gave me an email where I just forwarded the receipt. CIC asked me to put " payment for ( my name) and ( application number) in subject" for them to trace it fast and produce PPR / DM

a. Medicals received line on Ecas is only related to Medicals, not receipt of PCCs, or RPRF, or anything else...That line does not indicate whether they received ur documents or not....(If u did Meds in E-medical center, they check the reports uploaded by the Hospital to CIC and if all-ok, they update the line without waiting for ur Meds receipts)

b. There is no way to track receipt of docs like PCC, RPRF, etc through Ecas

c. You should immediately raise a CSE and attach the other docs like PCCs, RPRF receipt, POF, etc..This is the preferred mode of communication to Visa Offices...You should have done this the moment the email bounced..The link for CSE for Vienna Vo is this->

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=vienna

Good luck!!!

dear arkscan,
i cannot thank you enough for your input! i had no idea for this possibility of communication with LOs (well, i did not have a need before, luckily). as soon as i've seen your message, i've sent CSE. hopefully, they will acknowledge it, since in the confirmation page, they are pretty much saying that they will probably not answer it. thank you again so so much!

Hello friends I have been a silent follower of the forum for some time and I am facing a difficult situation and I am posting this seeking your expertise

My wife is the applicant and our timeline is:

NOC:2132
We received your application for permanent residence on September 17, 2014.
We started processing your application on February 5, 2015.

Haven't received any update since then, no MR/ AOR.

Now the situation is that my wife is working for a company and on 11/05/2015 the company has been liquidated. Now we do know whether to update NDVO about it or just wait for MR. the company did not receive the verification call before 11/05/2015 and now if NDVO makes a verification call there isn't anyone to answer the call.

Please suggest us as what to do.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ravi what are the next plans related to your Wife's job? I suggest you inform NDVO, before they verify the job details and find out that it has been liquidated

Forum seniors!

When we land in Canada, do we have to separately apply for PR card or not?

In the CIC website, it says PR card is automatically sent to first time landing immigrants and they also talk about how to apply for PR card first time. It is confusing....

Can any of our forum seniors explain please....?

Thank you
B

Hi

You don't have to apply separately, as part of landing process when you land at a Canadian Airport. You will apply for the same. Please make sure you carry any local (Canadian) address with you, this is the address to which your PR card will be sent

No you dont have to do anything bud.

Once you land they will fill the details themselves on the COPR and ask you for residence address.

After that the PR card will come at your residence address in 45 days.

When do you plan to leave?? and what is your profession mate?

Abhishek Aggarwal

Hi All....

I have a doubt..., My RPRF has been cashed on 14/05/2015. So how much time again it will take to reach 4th line update. My TLU is on 3/4/2015. So almost 60 days over after TLU. But my documents reached on 18/04/2015. Has anyone has the same situation where RPRF cashed but no updates yet.

Please clarify : TLU updated means:

1. Medical reports are OK.
2. My docs for medicals which I sent after medicals was correct.

Please reply.

TLU means your e-medical reports have received in VO and it is fine. TLU and documents sent through courier have no relation.
