Hi forum members

I am freaked out to see that CIC has updated the requirements of Punjab PCC on 26th May 2015 According to which the PCC from SSP or senior police officer is acceptable. I recieved request from WVO to provide PCC from India on 13th May. At that time the PCC from Passport Seva Kendra was acceptable and I applied my PCC through Passport Seva Kendra. Now I am about to get my PCC in 1- 2 days.

I am really worried to see the update on CIC. I dont have any more time to apply for another PCC coz I have to meet the deadline of 12th June.

Please suggest what should I do? Should I mention this to CIC in my cover letter coz I applied for PCC at that time when there was no update from CIC. :-\ :-\ :-\ :( :(

A question - what is the email id from which we receive PPR?
My VO is new delhi.

I still haven't received PPR after DM. Should I send mail to NDVO? or call them?

Relax.
In my opinion, there wont be any issue.
Residents of Punjab are given an additional option to get PCC through an SSP which is not provided to other states. PSK PCC will suffice too.

Thinking of the worst, if by any chance the document is now not admissible, VO will reach out to you asking for a fresh one. That's it.

I second that.

Yes you can but why not wait another 2-3 weeks till you get your PP back.

Yes. As long as you have the minimum required amount available, it's your discretion what you want to do with the excess amount.

[size=20pt]Friends,

Need your suggestions...

I am currently waiting for PPR/DM, can I withdraw the excess amount from the secondary applicant bank account which was shown as POF? Will it impact in any ways?

Hi..
I need some advice.
We have got the PR and planning to land in Vancouver by the last of July 2015. My daughter has passed the 10th examination (CBSE). How can I make an admission for her in 11th standard... Seniors please help me....

Ethically, Yes.
But I wouldn't recommend that you advise the IO of you departure when he is accessing you for landing and entry.

If I am staying for a short duration say 10 days do i have to inform the immigration officer. I plan to give my relative's address for PR and SIN.

Please suggest.
