Regarding PoF, its pretty complicated,

Spent a month researching on this and didn't got anything concrete. Seems like even prepaid forex card is not accepted.
Based on another info letter acompanied with COPR, with New Delhi Visa office, the bank statement is not included in that list, but I know one of my friend from London Visa office had bank statement as a valid document.

My consultant insisted that I should carry PoF in liquidated format as that's the guideline, so I did that, but mostly they don't ask about PoF during immigration. Friend from London also landed successfully before me with bank statement but he wasn't asked for PoF

I saw in this forum they rejected candidates with bank statement from HDFC bank, citi bank etc.. But not seen any case personally when someone is sent back due to this, but they have all the rights to do so.

I would say, we have invested so much and should not risk for itty bitty forex charges. Rest is upto you.

Friends & seniors,
Need an urgent help...if we travel through jet airways via London do we need a transit visa for London

No you need not until your stay is beyond stipluated hours(8hrs i guess) (Please confirm with the BA call center they will be tell you this)

IT CAN BE SIMPLIFIED BY DISCUSSING BROTHER............

AN ACCOUNT OPENED IN CANADA BEFORE LANDING CAN BE ONE OPTION. BANK STATEMENT OF CANADIAN ACCOUNT IS ACCEPTED AS IS SUGGESTED BY SOMEONE WHO ATTENDED CIIP SESSION AND WAS RECOMMENDED THERE.

MIX OF CASH/TRAVELLERS' CHEQUES/DEMAND DRAFT CAN BE ANOTHER OPTION.

Exactly, basically Canadian bank account can be opened from here but all of them become functional when you go to their canadian office, so getting bank statement will be complicated and it usually takes more than 15 days to open from India, so if someone is in a hurry that wont be a good option.

TC and DDs are good option to safely carry this kind of amount.

Congrats to all who have received PPR / DM this week.
I wish a speedy process to all of us.

After TLU how many days it take for PPR?

Thanks.

it will not require as u are not going out from London airport...
